Pep was right, we really are the Harry Kane team.

Looks like he's staying now and I'm glad, but unless he signs a new deal he'll be able to join any club he wants next summer even Chavs or Woolwich.

We may regret playing silly buggers wit Bayern, who were offering a more than fair amount plus getting him out of England so couldn't play against us.

Ange will end up having to shut down entire press conferences though as all some people will want to speak about is Harry Kane, even if we've won a game or signed someone for the first team.

Levy may have 'won', but in the long term this may be seen as a loss.

Good to know that we're so rich we can afford to let our best player leave on a free.

:pochsmirk:

Let's be real, he isn't going to join Woolwich or Chelsea, he's not Sol Campbell ffs.

LOL... OK mate.

Rice won't single-handedly win them the league. That's not how football works.

Nah come on though. Teams on the precipice of success often buy one or two high profile players for seemingly high costs. It boosts the squad, generates a buzz, creates momentum, as well as gives the manager a very useful player.

Virgil van dijk and alison looked expensive at the time.

Rice would easily start at Woolwich, Spurs, and Chelsea

Real Madrid, Barcelona, Bayern, Chelsea, Man Utd, Liverpool, maybe Man City again......Harry Kane on a free transfer? There will be a stampede
Barcelona, struggling with their finances. Chelsea? The question is would he dare to go there? and a lot will depend on whether they are back competing for CL and trophies again. Man U and Liverpool, no guarantees of a trophy or a league title there. Man City, ok yeah but you'd rather see him go to city than Bayern?

Do you want to see the best on the pItch? Or in the bank?

We're not the Spurs accountants. Some fans starting to act like a shadow of the chairman. Profit over glory and all that.

Kane is priceless. Yeah, I've changed my tune but fuck it.

This implies that the Kane money will sit in the bank and accrue interest. In reality Kane money = other players. Players who are committed to the project and will be here next year as well.

How naive are you?

He was at Woolwich as a kid plus Poch at Chelsea, no need to move, owners that actually want to spend some money, yeah nonsense idea.

Heard a lot about Kane doesn't want to damage his 'legacy' with us, hence why he's stayed schtum this post-season.

So I genuinely don't think he'd go to the goons or chavs.

Wouldn't rule out United or City next year but that's not the same.
