Idk, the majority had no problems with Qatar and will have no problems with Saudi, let alone have issues with Fifa's ethics

No problems? The whole process saw people face criminal charges and a swathe of FIFA sackings.

Infantino did a smooth-over job after the shit storm, but as far as the bidding process goes; as I already said, they couldn't pull that stunt twice in such quick succession.

Sure, though in some sense it's not that special of a case. An extreme case perhaps, but agents fees and the like are part of normal transfers too.

Net spend is a useful look at how a club is navigating the transfer market. But it doesn't correlate with success very well at all, unlike overall player expenditures.
It's special in its extemeness, only a few players have the ability to negotiate a clause so much lower than their true value. Dictate the terms.

Net spend is useful but in some extreme circumstances it makes sense to put the known value of the transfer to get it's full usefulness

He's already on more than they could possibly pay him.

..............Surely EVERYONE understands the wage problem by now?

So what, just give up? Why not think a bit more creatively? What's wrong with at least accepting the 10 mill offer, who knows it may wake up a few other clubs that he might be interested in even if it's a lower wage. We have to try everything to get this tramp out of the door

Tottenham are rubbish. They never spend £100 million on a star player like the top teams do.

In fact I'm going to sack off the Premier League this season. Saudi Arabia is where it's at.

Ive decided to support Al. They're buying the best players it seems.
