It would be interesting to know what we’re doing to get rid of the players we don’t want beyond telling them to find new clubs. If they’re still involved with the first team squad then as we’re seeing they appear to be happy to just pick up a salary and run down their contracts. Whereas and as harsh (in some cases) this may sound, we should be keeping them away from the first team and all other ages groups. If they’re serious about playing football then they should be more forthcoming about accepting terms elsewhere. Ange obviously like any other manager/coach will want to build an excellent team spirit but you can’t do that when you’ve got players you no longer want hanging around.
You’d think their highly paid agents would be pulling their fingers out to get some tasty commission!!

Been reading on newsnow orban prefers a move to Lille. We better start sorting this striker situation out as we could end up like pavlyuchenko and campbell a few seasons back that cost Ramos his job. Need to get moving imo as it's a long season and realistically we needed at least one striker but I'd prefer two (form and injuries).

As reported by Sacha Tavolieri, Ligue 1 outfit Lille have engaged in negotiations with Belgian 1st division side Gent over the possibility of signing 21-year-old Nigerian attacking pocket-rocket Gift Orban.

Orban, who has also been on the shortlist of fellow northern France side RC Lens as a possible replacement for Loïs Openda, who joined RB Leipzig for a deal that cost more than €50m.

Les Dogues are moving to make an attacking reinforcement, despite no concrete interest in their current star forward, Canadian international attacker Jonathan David.

For Orban, Gent want a base fee of €25m for a player that they bought just 8 months ago from Norwegian 2nd division side Stabæk for just a few million Euros.

Gent are attempting to slow talks with interested parties as they believe that they will have a bidding war towards the back-end of August involving a number of Premier League sides.

Orban himself is interested in the idea of a move to Lille. One to watch.

Worth what after 2 years at Lille?

70m minimum.

It won’t be this season, accumulatively over the last few years it’s probably close
Spurs out-earned Woolwich in each of the previous four years of accounts back to 2017-18, essentially since we left WHL for Wembley, and it won't even be close for 22/23.

But Woolwich will almost certainly pass us by a healthy margin for 23/24. Champions League football is a major revenue driver. And the Library is like our stadium, just marginally worse across every dimension.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

He´s not welcome in a part of the world where they treat women like garbage, and even execute women that have been raped!

I tought he would fit in perfectly!
Funny and all, but I knew they had no interest. The whole thing is a public relations project, they're never going to be interested in a supernova of bad publicity like that. They produce enough bad publicity on their own.

A club is going to sign Greenwood because his goals would be competitively meaningful to them and because their leadership can't be made to feel sufficient pressure by anger on the English language internet.

Napoli, Atalanta, Sevilla, something like that. Southern Europe has the requisite combination of high competitive stakes, retrograde local attitudes toward women, and in most cases limited commercial connection to the global corporate/financial/culture industry that's vulnerable to a Twitter shitstorm.

If the big Istanbul clubs can afford him that might be an option too.
