I'll keep peddling my phrase - it's worse than Stockholm syndrome. It's Fritzel syndrome. They'd rather stay in the basement getting abused than escape, because they're scared what might be outside.

Think Ange might well want a few Brits, for a cultural thing as much as the HG factor.

Maybe the dressing room is too multi lingual and a mess of chatter, those types of dynamics.

The focus is too pronounced to be merely HG itself, IMO.

If you have a manager who believes strongly that his system can produce results as long as he has competent players, that manager may not want creative or exceptional players on his squad. I think Postecoglou was a bad choice as manager, but he deserves the chance to create the squad he wants around players he believes are suited to his system. I sure would have liked to have seen Ansu Fati play for Spurs, though.

That doesn't really sound like Ange, when he took over Celtic he brought a bunch of Japanese players. I think we have real HG issues and we might as well solve them this window.
