Oh come the fuck off it. I hate people that have never played professional sport sermonizing about the "proper" mentality of professional athletes. You know fuck all about the inside of a PL dressing room, and neither do I. Stop flattering yourself as FightingIllini FightingIllini , Sports Psychologist.

Maybe he has a burning desire to prove the critics wrong and earn a place in the starting lineup of a 6th? consecutive Spurs manager.

Equally; we've given him (Dier) a new contract directly off the back of an awful 18 months of injury, illness and surgery absence and then another 3/4 years of opportunity to cement himself back into the team despite some up n down form.

The club's done well by him. It's very disappointing that things would end less than amicably.

The purpose of the club is to win. Hearty thanks and good memories to those two for their contributions to success of years past, but it's over. This isn't a country club.

And if you think it takes Carnac The Magnificent to see the bad player leadership around here in recent years, we're just not going to have a productive conversation here. Though that very much includes Harry Kane, which I gather is a point you'd like established on the record.

Depends who you're talking about..... Loanchester United look rather thin if they're having to piss around with Reguilon playing twice a week. Massive TBC about the ability of their new ST to play twice a week too...... He's got the same back issue as Rashford had and until surgery he had a shit 18 months of poor form and niggling absence.

Goons are currently on the brink of their first CL campaign for 7 years with Eddie Nketiah as ST.


Dippers have got 1 reliable DM and are thin accross the back line.... And as we know Europa League is a bitch.

Selling Kane and not even bidding for another proper CF, jeesh, and just getting one CB when we needed at least two.

It's why I rated the window at 4/10. I might raise it to 5 if we get rid of Ndombele, and pay off Dier and Lloris, but of couse we can't get rid of Sanchez now otherwise we're relying on Phillips who is lacking experience (fuck knows how he's going to get that without a loan period?).

Apart from the front 3 we're pretty good with our first 11, but any injuries to our CBs, we're fucked,
Son seems finished unless he can revive his old form, as you say Richalrison flounders, and Kulusevski is too slow and predictable, so we 'may' have solved his limitations with Johnson, whoopie shit.

Good god you become such an angry crybaby when you bizarrely get outraged on behalf of millionaire athletes who are outstaying their welcome a bit.

You act like Dier’s done some sort of public service. Given the club the best years of his career? We’re the absolute best he was ever going to get, he didn’t give us anything.

He’s been on a very high wage, played at a level above his ability for years and it’s time to go. I’m sure he’ll survive with his 10/10 wife and millions in the bank without your bleeding heart treating him like a victim online because people don’t rate him.

Maybe we'll feel better after tomorrow.

But we are distinctly slipping away from the sharp end of the table in terms of the quality we can rely upon.

And here's the really shitty thing. With the depth and quality required to really compete, and the strictures of FFP not to mention the unwillingness of ENIC to invest, if Real Madrid swoops in and wants to pay 80M for Destiny Udogie next summer, we really ought to take it, such are our squad-building needs if we're trying to compete at the very top.
