If we get rid of both TN and DS

Last year Dier was starring in a table topping team. Maybe he is not a perfect fit for Ange but he is an excellent back up along with Davies.
Plus we have Royal capable of playing CB and Dorrington.
Ange said he would not overlook the yoot and Sayers and Paskotski are also long shot candidates.

Dier is a disaster in a high line, his pace has gone to shit. In pre season Ange was preferring Davies a left back to Dier.

The only way this makes sense is if Philips and Dorrington are ready for the first team.

Exactly. Before the season start this season was seen as a re-building season.
But the 2nd place after 4 games may have changed the mind-set into CL spot chase. Sure, I would course take a CL spot (or EPL title) this season but still the squad-rebuild should be of importance as well, otherwise Spurs may end up as they did under Conte.

You can't tell me Dorrington and Williams are worse than Sanchez and Dier.

I'd rather just take my chances.

They might be we don’t know. You end up with Dorrington an 18 year old get slaughtered game after game it’s going to look really bad. I am all for throwing the kids in but not due to negligence of the club. Sanchez has only to be here till Jan then we can buy a CB or two and job done.

So far Ange has shown he doesn’t rate Dier and would rather Philips be on the bench and even Davies move to CB but he will play Sanchez.

Ndombele will be talking to Spurs about subsidising his holiday in Turkey as no way will Galatasaray want to pay £200k pw.

Just hope Ndombele doesn't let on he's booked a sun lounger on the beach for the next couple of years.

It's a huge gap up from U-18 & U-21 footy to the EPL. Huge. The standard of the U-18 league is below all the senior leagues in Europe, and you don't expect an "excellent" CB from those league to performs well in the EPL.
I am NOT saying Dorrington isn't ready - that's for Angelos to figure out.
Williams who?

It was discussed as an option during the summer.

Which basically translates as what I just said.

"He mentioned it might(*) happen rather than declaring that it would......"

(*potentially nothing more than speculation on his part.)

......Which is a long way off what you originally said about the club talking about it all summer.

Trusting / giving opportunities to younger players is what Ange likes to do. He has my support on this.

We all know Sanchez's level and it's not good. Might as well speed up the development of the likes of Phillips whilst we appear to have a rock solid first choice CB pairing.
