As things stand now :

UEFA squad
To fit with UEFA squad rules I think we have to drop Forster, using Austin as 2nd GK and Whiteman (Club trained) or Gunter (List B) as 3rd GK to give us a squad size of 23 players plus List B youngsters (Lankshear, Moorem DE.
Youngsters classed as List B

GK -Vicario/Austin/Whiteman or Gunter
RB - Porro/ Spence (also LB)
CB - Romero/Van De Venn/ Dragusin/Gray (also DM & RB)
LB - Udogie/Davies (also LCB)
CM1 - Bissouma/ Devine
CM2 - Bentancur/Sarr
CM3 - Maddison/Bergvall
RW - Kulusevski/Johnson/ Moore
LW - Son/Werner(loan), Odobert
CF – Solanke/Richarlison/ Lankshear

Analysis under UEFA definitions :

Club Trained (1 or 2)
Austin (3rd GK) plus Whiteman or Gunter (List B)

Trained at Other Clubs affiliated to The FA and FAW (7)

Maddison, Johnson, Forster, Davies, Gray, Spence, Solanke

Overseas Trained (15)
Vicario, Romero, Van de Ven, Dragusin, Porro, Bissouma, Bentancur, Bergvall, Richarlison, Son, Kulusevski, Werner (loan), Udogie, Sarr, Odobert

PL Squad
Bergvall, Gray and Odobert are classed as u21's, so additional to players under PL squad rules and this means we can include Forster (a more experienced GK) in the squad
Otherwise, all the players in uefa squad could be in PL squad.
There is enough space in PL squad (not UEFA squad) to include Reguilon but I doubt we do ?,

Those 10 or so games during Covid whe Gio cooked.

It really is true what they say... the best ability is availability.

I can't understand the complacency when basically the same group wasn't good enough last season, and when you've finished in the Champion's League places 1 out of the last 5 years.

"We'll run (more or less) the same team out that didn't succeed last year , grow the youngsters up on the training ground gradually, and do some wise business shipping failed players out. And if all goes well maybe we can compete for European football... where our ambitions again won't match those of the teams surrounding us" ...

This is slop you'd dish up to supporters of the Spam or some other mid-table club that doesn't harbor any delusions about winning trophies, not a big club as we feel we are

Yeah, cause he'd rather stay at Real fucking Betis than move to a top team in the PL. Gonna be tough to convince him.
My brother I was replying to this comment:

I could be wrong, but from what I've read, that won't make any difference. I read it that we have first dibs for a fixed sum of €30M. Those 2 scumbags could bid the GDP of a small country, we'd still get him for €30M.
Those 2 scumbags could bid whatever and we'd be able to have a €30M bid accepted, once that happens it's down to the player to choose who to join and I shouldn't have to tell you they'll offer better wages.

Have to be honest i was a lot more impressed with Gabbanini last summer than Lange this but guess we dont know what the budgets or wage constaints were. A fairly modest £48m net spend and £20m+ cut from the wage bill tells us something isnt quite right. I really hope its a sale because something has to change at this club.
