I'd rather we sign Archie Gray. They can play similar roles but Gray has much more upside.
Plus Parrott played for a team that got relegated.

He wouldn't be an understudy or makeshift to anyone he'd be there to compete for a starting spot and that's exactly what is required to challenge for trophies.
He had a great game last night and excels as a LCB in a back three where he's allowed to press and progress the ball. Absolutely an Angeball player.

It’s all that matter too isn’t it, that they are in for preseason. We all want signing in asap but as long as a couple are in for the start of preseason then great. I wonder when it begins, 8th July? If it’s then any that are away at the euros and cops America will still be on a break so wouldn’t join then, so if we want some in it might be players who aren’t there.
If any are to do with the 30 June then I’d expect we’d hear something soon. Everything about us and the forest players have gone quiet thinking about it. Maybe there isn’t going to be anything in it for us.
That's in theory, yes, but in real life he knows that should he join Spurs, then Romero & van de Ven are the 2 first choices as CBs; and unless there's a drop in form and/or injuries (which may happen - but may not) he'll be spending lots of time on the bench (at least in the beginning) in a new league.
If Juve offer him a starting spot and more or less same salary (as Spurs) he'll stay in Seri A.

He will stay in Italy because he’s Italian
Or he will go to a club that offers him the best salary.
He’s Italys starting CB, he would have 100% confidence in winning his place in the Spurs team and he’d know that even to start with we are playing Europa league and trying to make a run at cups so he’d get plenty of games to prove he should be first choice.
That’s how top athletes think and we shouldn’t be signing any players that don’t think that way

I like Udogie but I also think he needed coming out the team a few times last season as he understandably struggled with the position and this led to unnecessary fouls and bookings. He’s a tremendous player but by bringing in a top level player to push him I think he will be even better.
VDV, Calfiori and Udogie covering left back and left centre back next season would be ideal.
