Dusan Vlahovic has been hyped for a couple of seasons now. Is another of the dozen or so strikers that we've been linked to this window. His numbers are decent without being spectacular. I don't watch a lot of Serie A, so don't know how good he actually is.

Just because we haven't been selling players like Dele, Kane etc for massive profits doesn't mean we haven't benefited from their transfer value.

I keep saying it and will keep doing so.
ENIC use the club value as a guarantee on non THFC business loans. The more value the club has the more they can do and leverage it.
If we have a squad worth loads on paper, that's great. For them.

Where are these non business loans? For the hotel or other ENIC affiliate companies? I don’t think their overall portfolio has increased

Our press was pretty much as good as both City and Liverpool’s last year.

It definitely wasn’t our problem
Not so sure as we never stopped those transistions when the forwards would bumble and give up the ball too easily. All you have to do is get tight to our forwards and they will lose the ball. Neither strong enough or good enough to keep the ball. Only time they are good is when there is space.

Not really that optimistic for the season ahead based on the ambition shown by the club to this point. After Ange's comments after the city game the change doesn't look forthcoming to me. Are we expecting to see major changes with the same players that have not delivered over the last few seasons?
You make it sound like we were in a relegation battle last season. We just missed 4th and were going great until Maddison got injured. He ran Ange's system, our wingers and striker were runners that were fed by Maddison passes. When he went down most of the creativity was gone but we still found a way to score more goals than when Kane was there.

Just when you think this window can’t get any worse.

He's a very good traditional striker on the cusp of very very good.

He's not going to do what Kane did in regards to playmaking or anything like that. But he'd do well in Ange system where he is expected to prowl the box, play some hold up and tap crosses into net.

If one of the 3 was Toney why would Brentford be holding it up? They already bought a #9 replace him…

Same goes for Chiesa, they left him off their tour and want him gone ASAP.

Ramsey wouldn’t be wiping their feet with Ramsey either.

Thinking about it, Eze, Neto, Solanke, Gyokeres or someone we’ve not even been linked to make more sense.

Or we aren’t signing a striker?
