Isn't that fee for Solanke including add ons? and Richarlison's fee isn't?

Yep many times, know how this plays out, just hope ange is ready for the disappointment/alternative.

Wouldn’t mind the same if we won a few trophies. I bet if we played like citeh you would be saying the same.We are way more direct than Pep ball. He bores opponents to death with recycled possessions until they switch off and make a mistake.
Tbh even v BM who had more of the ball and controlled the game in that first half he was pretty much anonymous. It’s not just against low blocks but teams who are better setup technically and hand strong FBs.It’s not either/or.
In attack it’s helpful to have different tools. Johnson is great against teams who leave space in behind, or when you’re winning, or against tiring legs. But against teams that are very compact or don’t leave much space then a different player is useful.

Yes it is, apart from the early part of last season, I found the football quite boring to watch. It’s a sad state of affairs isn’t it. This club even manage to make transfers as about as exciting as going to games.
I wanted him the summer we signed Richy. At Leeds he just looked like he had everything we needed to be a winger. I would be all over bringing him here loan or otherwise. However I am not certain as to how convinced he would be to play for us. The scum like him too. I wouldn’t be surprised if they were in for him should he become available.
Gross spend gives you a more rounded picture, I don't think it's irrelevant.Well those 2nd and 3rd ones are kind of meaningless. 2nd because it shows gross spend not net. And the 3rd looks at total points, not points improvement. Under Ange, with a net spend of ~172M, we improved by 6 points vs previous year. Arteta in his first full year improved by 5 points on his previous half year, which in turn was 14 points worse than the year before.
I'm not sure what the point is... it's almost as if someone's just selecting stats to be divisive.
Anyway what they do show is that the club is backing the manager.
Football manager of course! come on mate get with the programme!
Considering we have 2 of the best centrebacks in the Premiership we leak goals and silly goals because with inverted fullbacks VDV and CR have to cover the fullbacks. That weakens us in central defence so we need a really good defensive midfield player to help them out. That will allow our attacking players more licence to get forward.
Maybe, but as I always say, they have a bit more slack considering the success they have had on the pitch as a result of their generally excellent recruitment.
And this transfer aside, I will still use them as an example of how we should operate.
Our recruitment methods are deservedly far more open to scrutiny and criticism.
Think Winks has already left mateyep.
I don't get his insistence on it though and I hope we don't focus on that position and neglect the most important one ffs.
edit the only way it makes sense is if we do a surprise sale in addition to Lo Soso and Winks leaving.
It would be a surprise sale of Winks.yep.
