CM has always been the most demanding position to play in, it's why it's always referred to as the "engine room." The game has changed somewhat, in that you could also put FB's into the bracket of most demanding, but no matter how much the game changes, midfield will always be the engine room. Defenders defend, forwards attack, but midfielders are required to do both.
Especially in this system.
But honestly mate we are discussing this because none of us can work out what logic (if there fucking is any) the club are following in this window.
