you can see already this is going to be another disappointing season if we don’t strengthen and spend the money now ,the young players we’ve signed are good but are not going to take us to that next level right now .

I think you're thinking about Nabil Fekir, who nearly went to Liverpool until he failed his medical.
oh thanks you right but could not find the name
i was looking online for his brother going to betis , where even google search came back with "u r a drunk dumbass go n search it in the spurs forum"
so thanks

No he wasn't! I'm talking about shutting them down before or as they happen, not chasing the Oppo 2 passes already into their transition. We have to shut them down with 5 or so seconds - see City or peak Liverpool (I don't want to completely chuck him under the bus as the solo culprit because it's system-related too - we do commit a lot of players forward and he's often one of those players, other players who should be contributing to shutting down transition are our inverted FB's so there's share in responsibility too.

Sarr is good a winning the ball back when pressing oppo (as a team we are good pressers high-up the pitch), but to have so many transitions against us whilst he's our #8 means he is shit at doing anything about them, it's literally one of the main things a #8 should have in their locker. Galagher for example is night and day better than Sarr at this and therefore would transform us by preventing oppo transitions. NOT dealing with transitions & set pieces (conceding 61 goals last year) is our nemesis.

We are absolutely shit and dealing with oppo transitions, we will not progress as a side if we don't address this. As part of Angeball, we will always have perhaps a higher % against us because it is our accepted way to play and I completely accept this - it's about finding a solution to preventing say 30% less that's all. (I've completely made that figure up but I hope you get the gist).

That’s a pretty confusing post mate.

You say Sarr is good at winning the ball back pressing and chasing down after a pass in transition but not good at preventing transitions. If you win the ball back in the press that’s the second best way to stop a transition. If you are great at chasing them down after a pass that’s the 3rd best way.

The best way is not to give it away in the first place but that’s on the forwards more than it’s on Sarr and Gallagher sure as fuck doesn’t stop our forwards giving it away as often. He’s probably as good as Sarr winning it back in the press or even slightly better but several levels worse at chasing it down after a pass.

Feels like you mis-quoting stats to fit an agenda. The article you quoted says €47 million not £.

BBC Sport quoting - Bournemouth will pay 37m euros (£31.67m), with the potential for another 10m euros (£8.56m) should certain clauses be met.

Most sources quoting £65 million for Solanke and somehow you got to comparing the two as 50 and 60 million.

Lastly no said Solanke was marquee except you.

I rounded up the Euros
