Ok. Because we’ve looked like a solid unit under Ange I guess? Nothing to change
Udogie is a good player and perfect for games like yday but who would you want marking Saka vs them lot? And marking their centre backs after last years capitulation.

Doesn’t mean we won’t go big in Jan….Honestly believe our business is done, big gamble relying on youngsters but, this is Tottenham run by a particular set of people.
I think the club will finish 7th, can't see without further additions anything more.
Probably the delta between the two to be fair (wages saving). In year, I suspect our balance sheet is favourable once the dates of the payment fees are consideredand recouped 75m whilst saving an insane amount of money on wages.

Not in January maybe next summer.

Obviously Ange being Ange here and having a bit of fun with the reporter but it sounds to me like he's also happy with the transfers that have been done and it will be opportunity-based if we go again. Maybe I'm reading too much between the lines but he's usually more guarded than that when he's expecting an imminent incoming.
The two young talents we are great but, they are for the future and don't have the consistency yet.Who would you prefer in the rotation for CM?
Elite talents like Bergvall and Gray.
Or
A mercenary 28 year old who might be marginally more developed but in reality just there to plug gaps.
The scum just brought in Merino to plug gaps but he’s probably not much better than GLC.
I’d be fuming if we had someone like that taking minutes off Gray and Bergvall.
If MGW or even that Gomes guy was on the table then I can see them fitting the squad build long term and it would be ruthless on the younguns but I could get behind it. They clearly weren’t on the table though.
Weird take from that clip.
He said it doesn't feel like we've spent a lot (in comparison) and then references Solanke and a "couple of 18 year olds and a 19 year old".
That to me suggests he still feels there is room to do more but it's obviously out of his hands.
Yes, net transfer spend is well down on the average of the last 4 years (112M/year) and that's before taking salary savings into account. So there could be room for one more incoming. Europa squad numbers / lack of HG notwithstanding.

Big gamble if the club are pursuing a European place, and hoping, placing that responsibility on them.
I don't see how we fit another winger in, particularly if we want to give Moore minutes.Absolute must:
- Player who can cover LCB and LB, a sort of Ben Davies with much greater athleticism.
Ideally need:
- Another winger of Odoberts profile so we have two wingers that fit the Ange system directly.
Be nice:
- Pittbull Kante style midfielder who can press like a madman.
- replacement for Forster in GK.
We have got the wage bill down and got rid of average players which has been very pleasing. A couple more to go.and recouped 75m whilst saving an insane amount of money on wages.
Moore isn't even making the bench which shows you where he is in Ange's immediate thinking.I don't see how we fit another winger in, particularly if we want to give Moore minutes.
So Luka who has played 2 seasons of first team football wont be ready but Alfie who has played zero first team football will be. makes complete sense

Can’t see Moore being involved much when we have 5 wingers at the club fighting for two places. Don’t get me wrong I’d tell Werner to get to and have Moore in his place.Moore isn't even making the bench which shows you where he is in Ange's immediate thinking.
