Mate, I know you better than that.

FWIW, I currently rate this window the same as you do, we could have done more, but unlike some on here, I don't think AP is lying when he says he's satisfied with this window. He's not interested in getting players for the sake of it.

I'm disappointed that we didn't at least make a play for Nico Williams, I nailed my colours to the mast there, but I happen to trust what the club is building, so I'm rather chilled TBH.
My patience Is waning to be honest, fair play if you still hope for a new dawn

Danjuma is a winger who used to play for us.
Gil is a THFC winger who is on loan at Girona.

Yes. But to not do a single deal is the ultimate in standing still or arguably going backwards. Both windows back to back absolutely did us though, of that there’s no debate. Ultimately it ended with us losing the club’s leading goal scorer. Had we got both those windows right, who knows what would have happened.

Not necessarily, depends on where your squad is at really.

Signing players can make is seem like you're improving they obviously need to be the right ones otherwise you'll end up with shit like we did which took us 5 years to recover from it.

I love the club mate. I didn't start supporting Spurs because of the trophy count or expectation of trophies, and nothing has changed.

I'm disappointed, sometimes angry, when we lose, happy or ecstatic when we win. Whichever way my emotions go, I'll be over them after a while and looking forward to the next fix.

I've never been a "want it all now" type, after 50+ years of supporting this club, how could I be?

I'll enjoy watching this young team evolve, playing a brand of Football that I truly enjoy. Trophies will be the icing on the cake, and I couldn't care less what a bunch of randoms on an internet forum think of that.

Post of the season.

Nice of you to call them randoms. I could think of other sobriquets.

That’s annoying, Mrs Perryman is usually the voice of reason on here that recalibrates my perspective . Has this forum got room for two reasonable people,😃

I love this post. Exactly how I feel.

Sadly ; 5 millions is peanuts for a PL club these days . Brentford seem to know their business . If he’s a flop ; they’ll write him off .

We just wrote off 125 million on three players this transfer window by the way .

It’s a joke if you ask me .
Our scouting for expensive players such as LoCelso, Ndombele, Richalison Johnson, is meh.

I'm not having a go at Johnson but I reckon £30m would be nearer his value. That might go up in time but not when we bought him, or until now.

The other three have just been disasters.
