Played 90 minutes and scored for Nice in an 8-0 win tonight. Was also given MOTM in GFF:

Ndombélé has shown glimpses of his best this season without putting together a full 90-minute performance. He had no issue doing so here, running the show from the first minute until the last. It was an eye-catching display, one reminiscent of his days at Lyon, and it was rewarded with a goal.

Nice murdered St. Etienne, 18 shots with 12 on target and with only 60% possession.
Franck Haise is one to watch for the future, me thinks. I'd take that sort of match in a heartbeat.

So what do we think the reasoning is for Ndombele's turn of form since moving to Nice?
Lack of expectation amongst the club, therefore free to do what he wants and given the freedom to do so?
Was homesick and now feels back at home and comfortable?
For every decent performance the club buy him a Happy Meal.
Does he actually have a turn of form or are we basing it off some paper giving him a 7?
He’s also on a mid table side in the French league.
They looked horribly average against Arse worse than we did. The blokes cut out to be a big fucking huge ass fish in the tiniest of ponds, just like that scrub Locelso.

So, the answer is definitely an increase in Happy Meals.
Fucked if I know. Maybe he just needed a coach and system/environment that suited him to get the best out of him.
I think his time here was a perfect clusterfuck storm. Young kid, new country. He gets injuries, coach who bought him gets sacked, Mourinho scapegoats him publicly, fans turn on him, hardly surprising he lost his confidence/mojo.
Maybe some of the issues are his own mentality too.
Either way it’s a shame because he’s a talented footballer.
