Well I wouldn't make that deal if we were to go back two years ago and do it all again, but what's done is done. I'd not let him go for the 35m we'd get for him in this market, or for a swap with an inferior player. I'm sure most here would take Verratti in a swap deal, a guy who rarely completes 90 and has only once ever managed 30 league games for PSG, doesn't run much and spends his weekends clubbing. If we can get rid of Ndombele and bring in Kessie, or Aouar ( or anybody with high quality on the ball) fair enough. But if it's Weston McKennie or Nahitan Nandez we're in for a long season.

If he stays and is given some TLC, I reckon he might stop comfort eating and give us 60-70 mins a game.
