Ex-Spurs Player Tanguy Ndombele

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

If he's still here on Wednesday then he either gets his head straight and grafts or he's on a seriously slippery slope towards a "what might have been" career.....

He's 25 in December.... These are his biggest years of growth that ought to lead to his prime and he's wasting them.

Yeah but the question is whether he’s lagging by a lot behind the other Tottenham/Premier League midfielders or not.
I am as annoyed as most people for his attitude . But he wasnt as lazy as people make him out to be on the pitch once Jose worked with him.

Theres a stat on premier league.com for how many 50-50 players were winning last season.
ndombele was 74
hojberg 23
locelso 8
winks 4. (we know how winks shies away from 50-50s trying to not get hurt)

While hojberg obliterates everyone else in our midfield in terms of all defensive actions, ndombele was consistently doing more tackles, etc etc than locelso and far ahead of winks. But somehow so many people will call ndombele lazy but not call out an actual lazy, no-effort player like winks because of the 'one of our own' nonsense.

Of course attacking-wise theres no comparison between ndombele and the other 3, they arent even close.

some people never saw a true lazy player as Balotelli during the training session .

Viera and Conte must still have nightmares about him :nunofacepalm:.
The worst was R10 with AC Milan , Berlusconi private party night .
Cassano with Real Madrid ,angry against Capello , eating 10 Nutella pots / day with 15 kg overweight ..

Spot on.

Tanguy has a choice here. He can knuckle down, and become - genuinely - one of the best players in the world, or he can fuck off to Barca or Juve in a year where he’ll have the exact same problems.

I doubt Barca or Juve want a player on his wages with a questionable attitude. He has to prove himself all over again, and he has to do it now or its a year of his own career wasted(and our 10 million or so of his wages).

I think he’s got enough raw talent to justify a club like that coming for him. Whether or not he deserves that attention is a different question.

Look at Depay for a case study. Shit at United, did well at Lyon (same club that Tanguy thrived at) and now main man at Barca.

Agree, he's addicted to a junk laiden diet, IMO.

His diet is too rich in Uric and Arachidonic Acids, I'm certain. When you try intensive sports (like a Poch pre-season) with an excess of these types of acids, you are likely to be very sensitive to impacts.

You can see with Ndombele, that he would look up for it, then after a couple of runs where he gets 'tapped' on the ankles, he would just pull up half lame. Jog for 5-10mins and if tapped again virtually hold the white flag up.

That's the result of junk foods being percolated during exercise, IMO, then impacts into areas carrying this excess uric brings inflammation as the needles irritate/damage the tissues on impact/twist/turn whilst awaiting recovery, which the N6 heightens in perceptual pain to ensure the host is aware something is wrong (etc).

Pretty sure this is the nub of his problems, junk fuelled impact snowflake.
Were you sexually assaulted as a child by a man wearing a Ronald Mcdonald costume?

Here is the thing, its obvious he has talent and equally that we have lost patience and want our money back, and will not take a loss , so it was always going to be hard to shift him. Now if forced to stay, he has to play for the move he wants.

These things are all to our benefit, secondly I'm pleased we are selling his security blankets in Aurier Sissoko. It a shame we did not shift both overseas. Far from adding to his issues I expect it will help. I've had a feeling we are about to get what we paid for....

Re: Buddies.....

Being a French-man and all; it's a shame he never saw the wisdom of looking towards our captain for guidance and a stabilising figure when he arrived.

Clearly not going now and we do not haver time to spend money if he did. He should be got ready for first Conference game as Lo Celso will not be back and take it from there.

Had to be the biggest flop in club history.

Early days but our biggest issues are working themselves out.

Nuno off to a great start. Seems to have won the players over.

Kane staying. Looks rusty but will be professional.

Ndombele set to have an excellent season? Here’s hoping.
Rebrov is our biggest flop. I was so excited when he signed, he was utterly useless.
