Hes definitely having a good time. Not so sure about us.I don't think we've seen the half of it yet. If we can afford to pay him 200k a week we are in good times trust me. What was Dave Mackay on?
So did I I got the cunts name on the back of a Spurs shirt when he signed :contesideeye:guess eBay bids will be brutal…..Shame it didn't work out for him. I really wanted him to do well for us. He has massive potential and a massive gut.
Did they do the apostrophes for you?So did I I got the cunts name on the back of a Spurs shirt when he signed :contesideeye:guess eBay bids will be brutal…..
There ain't a snowball's he comes back to THFC.Everyone's writing him off like he's gone permanently. It's a loan until the summer. The only thing that can save us is that he performs that well and Lyon or someone else is interested enough to make a solid permanent bid for him. But then there's a chance that we decide we don't want to sell now.
This is a good move, but let's not celebrate too hard.
Hmm Wayne Rooney might think he can get a tune out of him....
ONLY if somebody pays the money, so let's hope he sets the world alight at Lyon.
We’ll have a hard time binning him off to the reserves for three full years.
We have set his sale fee at 65 m euros. We’ll have a hard time binning him off to the reserves for three full years.
I would rate the odds he’s given another chance due to inability to sell him frustratingly high.
But, a new situation in an easier league at a club that doesn’t hate him gives hope he can generate some interest somewhere.
Definitely a much better chance he’s given a new lease on a Tottenham career by Ronald Koeman next August than that Lyon pays half that 65M to keep him.We have set his sale fee at 65 m euros.
If he does great and gets back into the France team then that won't seem dear and you can always come down but you can never go up.
If he flops he ain't worth a carrot and we will pay up his contract.
In between those extremes there is a reasonable outcome for the club but no way he will play for us again.
