Flop of the century? Any other player in our history that would be so talented as to justify a record fee, so insanely well paid by the club and yet absolutely useless for us.. not good enough to be an impact sub, not good enough for bench or to be a squad member at all due to a rotten attitude. One in a million chance, any of your most spoiled or mischievous players, all worlds Neymars, Balotellis, Bendtners or Arnautovic would turn up on occasion - this guy absolutely nothing. What a fucking waste

This one’s on Hitchen and Poch. He’s our Winston Bogarde. Utter pudding of a player, all the talent but terrible attitude and he never really wanted to sign for us. The lack of diligence on this signing is shocking. It’s a £100M plus fuck up.

He's value has fallen so much though since he signed the contract with us that subsidising almost becomes pointless. For example, if a club offers him say 50k pw, and we agree to subsidising another 150k then it's not really worth it. Ie clubs are only offering a pittance in salary compared to what he's currently on. It's Winston Bogarde all over again. They probably aren't even offering as much as 50k!

No offence, but this something of an over-reaction.

I get the sentiment but the level of hatred towards him is a bit comical. There are many other players who have done exactly what he’s doing at clubs all around Europe.

I also think part of him still being here is down to the club because if you really want to get him out something can be worked out. I suspect the fans want him out at any cost but the club want him out on their terms only.

Clubs fault, terrible recruitment.

Any player being signed who has even a sniff of an attitude that conveys being 'too cool for school' or a couldn't care less attitude shouldn't be touched.

It's a fear protection mechanism usually but that's not something that should become the clubs problem.

You need level headed mentality monsters ideally. Hard to come by coupled with great ability (Kane is a shining example) but people who give it all willingly and listen to instructions carefully.

Up until the 80s or 90s players always gave it everything - it wasn't even in question. Now there's a smattering of Ndoms doing the rounds for a whole myriad of reasons. Clubs need to wise up to it.

And then he will either walk away from the game or find some other cashed up ignoramus who owns a club and take that unfortunate bastard out for a ride.

N'dombele is a high end grifter. That is all he is.

£20m is is like double or quadruple the lifetime earnings of a well paid doctor, programmer or lawyer.

I get the feeling that in a decade his agent and former flunkies will be letting his calls go through to voicemail as he is probably only calling to borrow some cash to get him through until payday.
 
If we can’t find anybody stupid enough to take him on loan, then we should have him training with the youth team every day. Such is his ego, he’ll either not turn up or turn up late so we keep on fining him a weeks wages every time he’s late or doesn’t turn up. He’ll end up owing us money by the end of his contract

I think there are rules on how much you can actually fine players though.
