As you say, Poch doesn’t leave and potentially there’s a different arc here.
However, whilst I think there can be some sympathy at not fitting in with Mou or Conte, it’s hard to excuse this summer. Ange was clearly enthused by the prospect of what NDombele could do at the outset and from all reports it seems attitude was Tanguy’s downfall.
A big shame and a cautionary tale for us all who get overexcited at the prospect of some hot new talent from another league and moan at Levy to “just pay the money”.
Case in point would be Ivan Toney. Ability wise and playing style I thought he would be the best possible Kane replacement. But based on the recent interviews with Toney, he seems like an utter bell-end and looks to have the wrong attitude himself so would learn the TN lesson and steer clear.
