Do we have a guarantee of reaching 32 points? I think around there be the cut off. Until then I think we need to at least respect the league. Relegation would be absolutely devestating as a fan and to the club.
Regardless, until he is sold he could provide a solution/fill a position on the pitch. 12/13 injured players from a squad isn’t bad luck…
Let’s pray not and I tend to agree…

But until we’re safe I’m worried.
At the start of the season there was no way we’d be 15th having lost 12 after playing 22.
Stranger things have happened.
Let’s assume we rotate heavily against Leicester and lose. (Could easily happen). Liverpool at full strength will almost certainly batter whatever we have available.
That would mean we are closer to relegation and still out of a cup.
I don’t think there’s a right answer, but I’d rather make sure we’re in the top flight than be a bankrupt league cup winner.
But if we’re “not getting relegated” then why aren’t we playing the U21’s for the rest of the league games. Cos there’s nothing in the league for us.Why would we do all this though? Why would we rotate heavily against Leicester? And why couldn't a back 2 of Dragusin and Davies handle them? Those are just a load of unrealistic doomsday scenarios.
When I say prioritise I don't mean drop the whole team...I meant aim for the Liverpool match to get them back on the pitch together, if that means playing 45 each against Brentford or whatever then so be it.

I’d love to be able to concentrate only on, and win the league cup.
I think the “we’re not getting relegated” just comes across as “we’re already safe”
And we ain’t.
Probably because I’ve been drinking Vocation Brewery Love and Hate 7.2% ale tonight. (Please forgive me

Basically you think we’re safe in the league. I’m not so sure. (Yet)
I can try and articulate my point differently if you’d like me to?
Shake it all about?
Yup.
You're arguing with a professional wind up merchant I really wouldn't bother.Shake it all about?
Not worth falling out over. Just a slightly different view/opinion.
I also don’t think we’re getting relegated. But equally don’t think our best available 11, totally rested are likely to beat whatever Liverpool put out against us at Anfield. So why risk the critical league status when our strongest team should beat Leicester but probably won’t beat Liverpool.
I’m not enjoying misery or only seeing bad outcomes, I think it’s pragmatism. Playing the percentages if you will.
Higher percentage chance of a favourable outcome overall from going stronger against Leicester than Liverpool than vice versa.
