Really miss Solanke and Maddison. Solanke as the target guy to play into and Maddison to knit the play together.

Johnson back at least means we can switch Kulusevski to the middle. Odoburt will be an interesting one, a player who can take on people.
Yes these are rock star players, badly missed, other players would get a boost from them and likely be able to up their game especially the likes of Son.

NB: BJ is good for his tap in cut back goals or supplying them.

5 weeks until next International break. Because we ended up in Top 8 of Europa we have 2 midweeks free.. Because we are out of FA Cup we will have a free weekend at beginning of March.
We actually have 5 Pl matches and 2 Europa matches in That time. With players coming back much more manageable.
Not sure how much help this first free week will have in revitalising some players or who and how match fit those returning but results should improve over the next 5 weeks.
Last thing we need at this time is Mason in charge again.

Agree, our fixtures over next few weeks give us a bit of time to give our players 3 whole weeks rest. Well timed to get injured players back with a full week (or more) training before their first match back.

Allie Gold saying that Destiny Udogie, James Maddison, Wilson Odobert and Brennan Johnson were expected to be in full training today.

All of them will be on slightly different regimes with some needing to get more full training days under their belts before they play, so personally not expecting more than say two of them back for ManU, but it does mean that the others are likely back a week later, and hopefully other injured players will join them in full training - Guglielmo Vicario was rumoured to be starting light training, possibly in the gym, a couple of welk ago so I'd expect him to be part of the 2nd wave, Micky Van de Ven after his 45 mins v Elfsborg in EL surely another, Timo Werner may be included too. Dom Solanke might still be 2 weeks away

Hopefully we get another update at Friday press conference, probably of players back in training if not resdy to play.

But isn't Madders secretly on strike?

Per Ange at press conference :

Guglielmo Vicario, James Maddison and Destiny Udogie are all back and available for Sunday. Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner are back in training and Wilson Odobert is back on the grass but the club are being cautious about his return after so long out of action. Others remain out.
