It's not an excuse, because we haven't played yet. However there is a difference between playing on proper grass pitches and artificial ones. The bounce of the ball is more pronounced, the ball skids across the pitch faster and further, and therefore the muscle memory involved in passing is going to be an issue and players receiving a pass will have to cushion the ball more as it will arrive quicker. These are the fine margins that pros work under so we will be vulnerable in the early stages until the players recalibrate their heads.
If you ski and you have experienced artificial slopes and snow, there is a similar readjustment period from one to the other and back.
Yes I know - but it's not a huge deal if the team prepare.

I've played on Grass, Astro, and Concrete etc I know what happens to a ball on different surfaces. The thing is, it's on the Team to prepare for it so yes let's hope they have.
