Yeah mate getting to a league cup semi and a EL final justifies our worst league season in living memory.

My view, the law of large numbers and the overall standard of PL and European footy is just not as good at the moment.

The pitch will be watered to make it as fast as possible. A dry old 3G pitch can not be compared to a new, fast and wet one. That's night and day. In Norway some teams skips to water their 3G pitch when Bodø/Glimt visits.

Without Madison I just can’t see how we keep the ball or create anything , no Bergval either . This is going to be a backs to the wall performance where we will be hugely reliant on Solanke if fit or Richi to hold the ball up and just give us breathing space . It’s going to be a horrible watch .
I don’t disagree , the problem is we haven’t played that formation under Ange but I feel our squad is actually designed for that formation .

No one in their right mind will start with a formation and setup completely unfamiliar to the players in a semi final...
