Subs: Archie for Porro or Djed; Sarr for Bergy; Mikey for Odo; Tel for Kulu; Dane for Dom. Kinsky the backup goalie in case Austin goes down.

Yes, I'm leaving Vicario, Romero, VdV, Udogie, Bissouma, Johnson & Richy at home. Fuck them and their shitty attitude...time to teach them a lesson. I'd rather have guys who gonna give me 110% every game. Kulu & Mads in the squad cause though they've had poor moments, they've shown just about enough and are more deserving than the other dickheads.

That team plays at its best, they're plenty good enough to go through.

We only finished 2nd once.
5th, 3rd, 2nd, 3rd, 4th

In answer to your question, no. Because that season we finished 2nd, we had a good run at the title. We haven't done that since 1961. We've won 3 FA Cups in my lifetime, 5 since that title and 8 in total.
I'd argue the 3rd place for a whole while was a title push too.
And the 4th place was the season we got to a champions league final.
There's nothing to swap for me. I would have rather maintained those league positions but won 2 extra games. The 2015 league cup final and, obviously, the 2019 Champions league final.

Then we differ in quite a big way.

An FA Cup over all for me, possibly bar the Leicester season. That was pure theatre and we were quite brilliant, although arguably better the following season.

We have nothing to show for what might soon be 3 big finals. Strewth

Have you ever noticed how foreigners get narky when we don't pronounce their words their way, but flat out refuse to pronounce our words our way?
I had a French French teacher at school. She kept nagging at me to say words in a French accent. I pointed out numerous times my name is Matt, or Matthew, not Mattiue so stfu. If I wanna say "pally view onglay" I will
(Pas le vu Englais)

I would if we were actually unlucky and we genuinely missed sitters and were really the better side.
There's not many games in this era of Spurs I can think of where that's true though.
Lots of games where we eek out a handful of half chances and people come away claiming we "should" have scored 5 though...

:porrohands:

They can pronounce it how they like. As far as I'm concerned it rhymes with Bozo.

It's like that Hyundai advert. If a salesman tries to tell me how to pronounce it I'll fuck off with my money to Kia next door.

You mean Ghee-ah right?

You could worse as I have a Kia C’eed

Bought it 2nd hand 5 years ago and I’ve done 70k miles

Diesel and I love it!

Wonder how many they will bring to tomorrows match? Probably a motorbike will just turn up.

In my experience:

Norwegians are

a ) loaded

b ) love English football and it’s culture.

c ) enjoy being away from their homeland for a few days in order to visit a place where they can i) buy alcoholic drinks ii ) buy alcoholic drinks for a quarter of what it costs back in Norway.

I can see them taking up their allocation but also being friendly and non-confrontational .

Bizarrely; given the relative sizes of the two grounds , there could be almost as many at our place as at theirs for the second leg .

Tel will start on the left.

I can think of a few towards the start of the season

As much as a tactical liability he can be and has been, he actually wants the club to succeed and not be constantly belittled in the media.

He doesn’t give a flying fuck about the club. He cares about one thing - himself. He doesn’t want to be ridiculed.

He was cupping his ear at the away fans a few weeks ago, taking the piss out of them, and then gaslighting like a teenager in the post match interview.

He hates us.

He's not an elite manager, he's nowhere near good enough to manage at the top level like the premier league.
But he's right here. It was always going to happen. If United win it, nobody would be saying this. It would be the start of a new era, blah blah blah.
We win it, and the media will spend hours, days, weeks, working on articles that diminish it.

That said, I'm on the fence as to whether it's a big deal or not.
If it's us v United in the final that's two of the premiere leagues bottom 6 teams in a "prestigious" European final.
That's actually ridiculous and a sad indication of the actual poor quality in this competition.
