No fluke after 38 games..
Not sure about that. Chelsea put in the worst performance in about 4 years, West Ham between EL games fucked and United was having a meltdown when they played them. That level of luck is pretty remarkable.

No fluke after 38 games..
Yep. If we lose out by 1 pt it’s looking like that Trossard goal might be the decider, or that 3rd Southampton goal….annoyingly a point at home to Brighton might have been a good point after all.
Or the Burnley loss or the Crystal palace hammering or the fact we had a homeless tramp as manager until November.Yep. If we lose out by 1 pt it’s looking like that Trossard goal might be the decider, or that 3rd Southampton goal….
Because it makes more sense to compare recent form than something Newcastle were doing months ago which is irrelevant? Like someone said before, the only games Newcastle have lost at home in the last 13 are city and Liverpool. Current league position is not representative. Why are we using a 10 game sample other than it helps the narrative you want?
And yes Woolwich are clearly better that is why they are fighting for 4th and Newcastle are in 14th.
nonsense, a fluke over 38 games is less likely but it doesn't mean it can't happen. Leicester fluked a title ffs.No fluke after 38 games..
They had so much go their way in that Utd game. Compare that with us dominating Utd and they won with 3 bits of individual skill from RonaldoNot sure about that. Only thing that worries me with the Newcastle Woolwich game is that Woolwich have been a bit of a boggy team for Newcastle like us with Chelsea. You wonder about the mentality even at home.
On paper Woolwich should have issues defensively with no Gabriel, Tierney, Partey, Holding and perhaps Ben White as well. Newcastle also have Trippier and Wilson back in front of St James. Hard to predict this game.
I could honestly see Newcastle winning 3-0 and Woolwich winning 3-0.
That would be a weird match... :/I could honestly see Newcastle winning 3-0 and Woolwich winning 3-0.
I'm not sure about that - Leeds needed to win to really put pressure on, I think Everton will feel pretty safe right now... But yes come one Brentford and Eriksen indeed!leeds drawing puts the pressure on everton, cmon brentford and eriksen
A lot of people in here with waaaaayyyyy more faith in Newcastle than any of their fans would ever have.
Are you sure? Most geordies I've ever met seem to think they should win the premier league every year. Not sure I've ever come across more deluded fans anywhere in the world. :/A lot of people in here with waaaaayyyyy more faith in Newcastle than any of their fans would ever have.

For me it’s 50-50 Woolwich winning their last two games. That’s enough for us to have some hope.
