The market is completely overcooked, possibly like never before, and securing value for money seens now to be a matter of retrospect.
We need a balance between what Levy does and what Levy is less inclined to do. How and if that's possible is beyond my reach.
Very few players are worth anything like what is being asked for them. It's all gone a bit mad, and players/agents are benefiting, with very few being worth what they are being paid.
I think the club have approached the need poorly but our expectations are also losing perspective. No idea how we squeae all of it, although clubs installing sell-out clauses actually helps in some ways, if they are honoured of course.
