Just pay whatever and call Chelsea to match it

He won't cost more than 60m anyway. That probably is very expensive for what he's achieved so far but the potential is thereBe too expensive and is so over rated he'll end up another player we can't use or sell.
Not particularly "creative"
But lots of energy and power there. Lot's of interceptions and tackles high up the pitch.
People say Sarr isn't creative, but he "created" our 2nd goal Saturday by winning the ball that fell kindly to Richarlison who controlled it before Palinha smashed it in.
You don't need to have a high IQ footballer if you have a system that literally creates chances.
Surely the club are tempted to move for Mainoo? Not a 10 but he could play there and would be aa far bigger goal threat than Sarr in that role.
Where have I seen that before?Newcastle are having an absolute nightmare and have just accepted overpaying for players to get them.
55m on Elanga
40m Ramsey
60m bid incoming for Larrson
Literally spending over 150m on 3 ordinary midtable players!
But like you said atleast they are bidding and actively bringing players in the door. Levy looks stunned by the current market prices and is more afraid of bringing in the wrong player then going into the season short. Hard to know which club is right tbh but both having a nightmare of a window!

He's like a Kulu who does what we expect Kulu to do but better than Kulu at doing. What is best position, he seems to be all over the shop at West Ham
A midfield of Palhinha, Bentancur and Paqueta would be a carbon copy of the Newcastle midfield of Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton.
Everyone has potential at 20.He won't cost more than 60m anyway. That probably is very expensive for what he's achieved so far but the potential is there
I hope him and Isak both didn't get the transfer they have wished for. Will be funny for them to stay back and suffer the humiliation.Wonder if he'll phone up Maresca. "errr, hello, are you going to sign me, or shall I go to Spurs?"
West Ham surely cannot sell him, they'd need a replacement, plus they're in danger of relegation

I was saying it in a positive way.Not saying it’s a bad thing. Paqueta is also quite creative but its main strength would be total physical domination.

If true must have another CB coming in?
Yeah I would of kept him around this season, already played plenty out on loan and think might if benefitted being around Romero etc for a season (plus get to know the club)
If you think paying a possible asking price of 70 million for a player in Savinho who doesn't command a starting plac e is justified ,knock yourself out with that.
The market is completely overcooked, possibly like never before, and securing value for money seens now to be a matter of retrospect.
We need a balance between what Levy does and what Levy is less inclined to do. How and if that's possible is beyond my reach.
Very few players are worth anything like what is being asked for them. It's all gone a bit mad, and players/agents are benefiting, with very few being worth what they are being paid.
