What will become of Xavi Simons (22)?
The Dutchman, who still has a contract with RB Leipzig until 2027, absolutely wants to leave the club this summer. And the Bundesliga player is also gearing up for a departure, with Harvey Elliott (22/Liverpool) already has a successor on a leash.
But a change is still not foreseeable. Xavi also trained normally in Leipzig on Tuesday. The transfer window is still open until Monday (8 p.m.), time is pressing. So far, no club has made an official offer for him.

Sigh. Only Danso as back up, and Dragusin are not even back yet. Davies? FFS. Takai? Even more raw than Vlaskovic.
Vlaskovic is so useful to come on in as late sub for either Romeor or VdV when we are winning comfortably. He could gain good experience while our first choice CBs get to rest.
