Transfers The Summer Transfer Edging Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I watched him in his first season as he was someone I had heard a lot about from
Ajax. He was one of the most exciting players in the league, scored some incredible goals and was a constant threat whenever I saw west ham
play. Even if you disregard his europa league games he put up good numbers in the prem in a team which don’t see a lot of the ball.

People pretending kudos wasn’t one of the most talked about and hyped players at the end of last season is so disingenuous.
He's exciting and fun to watch, there's no question about that. It's hard to get TOO mad about the deal on that basis from a fan's perspective. He was one of the most eye-catching players at the 2022 World Cup too, I definitely wanted to sign him then.

But when playing against top quality opponents it's a lot of crowd-pleasing dribbles, not a lot of end product. A lot of similarity with Jeremy Doku really.

It's not even close between him and Eze, who combines entertaining flair with massive goal involvement production. We're treating Kudus as a "cheaper equivalent" when he is neither of those things!

West Ham choosing to auction off Kudus to the highest bidder in order to enable their broader team building strategy is not remotely the same thing as West Ham being desperate to secure whatever funds they can get.

For the trillionth time, Levy does not have the leverage here he thinks he does in a pursuit of a player who is the target SOLELY because of Levy's perception of leverage in the deal.

It's so fucking exhausting supporting this club.

If we went into next season with this exact squad we have now? Where SHOULD we finish?

55 mil for Kudus. Fuck me.

After wasting 60 on Ndumb, same on Richy, 40 on Lo Celso, 35 on Bissouma...

What is it Einstein said?...
10th to 8th

Exactly we never learn i do think kudus is better then rich celso and bissouma but 60 to 70 mill I dunno thats getting into top player territory

Will Ferrell Lol GIF

I expect the starting line-up on the opening day to be

Vicario
Porro
VDV
Romero (forced to stay unless unlikely silly money comes)
Udogie

Bentancur
Bergvall
Maddison

Tel
Solanke
Johnson/new player

maybe 1 or 2 new young prospects on the bench
Imagine that. Finished 17th in PL with 22 defeats. 60+ goals conceded (2nd season in a row). Struggled vs Qarabag, Ferencvaros, AZ, Galatasaray...nearly lost to Coventry & fucking Tamworth. Got humiliated by Liverpool. Shite in London derbies. Vicario has clear limits Romero & VdV the definition of injury-prone (on top of Cuti's other issues). Udogie can't pass and won't defend like his life depends on it. Bentancur? Enough said. Bergvall only a kid. Madders won't play a full season. Tel? Lol.

But yeah, let's change nothing and run it again.

Gross misconduct wouldn't even cover it.

I'm being honest.

I think Spurs start the season with every chance of 4th.

I only consider Man City, Liverpool and Woolwich the 3 teams I wouldn't fancy us to beat at home.

On our day we can beat anyone.

If Frank can organise this team to defend and attack we will be fine.

We have a decent starting 11 but if we add 2-3 quality players we will be fine.

I think Ange and his tactics were a bigger part of the problem than most want to believe for whatever reason.

:levywhoa: money needs to be used elsewhere luxury hotels

That’s likely what they’ll pay but it’ll probably be bumped up with unachievable add ons so it sounds better.
I will be glad when this player has left Spurs.

My son absolutely loves him but I have never taken to Romero.

I think it may be my age but I want defenders who defend first and foremost.

Spurs have been easy to get at down our right side ever since Romero rocked up.
