Who’s daft enough to believe one of these verbal pacts?!

what i don't want more than anything is to continue on the path we're on now. it's utterly demoralizing. i want a club that tries to compete and win things not line their pockets with our money.
What I don't understand is why the Spurs (and wider) mouthpieces were saying for 2 weeks that we were still confident of the deal being done.Ok, so those are the quotes I needed, he’s clearly referencing an approach to buy MGW there.
In which case, we have fucked this transfer up. However you want to cook it, we’ve attempted a method to get the player and it’s failed.
Either we didn’t do enough to persuade MGW not to sign that contract, or we tried to do it behind the owners back and underestimated him,
Either way, he’s got that smug grin because he’s won and it’s true, he has.
Who knows. Anything that’s come out has been from a Forest perspective, and tbh, they’re not the most trustworthy.
We’ll probably never know the full truth, because I imagine the club don’t want to get involved any further.
Don’t get this, he’s apparently going to be cleared?

His passing numbers are incredible but look at the size of him. He’d get eaten up in the midfield PL land of the giants.
Does he play central midfield in the PL these days?
He just looks slight.
What I don't understand is why the Spurs (and wider) mouthpieces were saying for 2 weeks that we were still confident of the deal being done.
The only explanation is that Levy genuinely thought he had the upper hand and this would work out for us. And that's hugely worrying.
The guy is out of touch and the laughing stock of the rest of the footballing fraternity.
Why do West Ham want rid?
Ok, so those are the quotes I needed, he’s clearly referencing an approach to buy MGW there.
The seeds of this have been building for years, but it really is shocking how uncompetitive our business has become relative to the top of the league. We are a million miles away from the top 5 clubs. It's a massive worry how Manchester united sign players that are very good and we won the European cup and seem to go nowhere.
He's 1.81cm.. what are you even talking about? His passing numbers are incredible but look at the size of him. He’d get eaten up in the midfield PL land of the giants.
Forest have told Gibbs White they will not sell him to Spurs under any circumstances. The Notts Forest determined to keep the player and pay a wage on a 3 year contract that nobody would want to pay on a longer term 5 year contract.
You can criticise player and his agent, and their integrity, for tying him to Forest for another year or two before he gets sold. But both get a huge financial reward
Nothing to do with how spurs are run.
And no other PL club tried to hijack the deal which tells you that Forest applied the right measure of carrot and stick to keep player - otherwise losing both Elanga and MGW left them very vulnerable to being in relegation area
