Agreed. This is a let down- should be playing higher standard ball.Don't hate this, but would much rather found him a loan in the more competitive French or German leagues.

Hindsight is a great thing, but before we signed Tel on a loan in Jan most people said the same thing......here was one of the hottest young talents in world football, at Bayern Munich, in the CL, why would he ever entertain a conversation with Levy, Ange and Lange
Nobody expected the club to convince him to come here but eventually the did. Forget about his performances since, before he came to us 99% of people in football were shocked he swapped Bayern for Tottenham
Funny ol' game
It sounds like it would be cuckoo land if he hadn’t done this dozens of times before.
I listed examples- Dybala, Moutinho, Aguero, Bastoni, hell even Gibbs-White is another example of this. Big names that show ambition but never actually come off, and we get the routine of “we tried but the deal was too difficult”.
Pint of what hes been drinking please landladyI won't be surprised if the MGW deal still goes through this summer and we get him before the window closes. Many discussions on that video with his club owner about his new deal. My view of the body language is that he knows a deal is going through but he needs to wait, be patient, be polite and go along the process. The process of making the NF owner look good, gets his 70 mil (or so), MGW goes to Spurs, and everybody is happy, even fans of both sides.
Given that thought. If the player does not want to fight to join us, I absolutely don't care about him. Excellent player the checks all boxes of what we need, but, if he doesn't want to join, why waste my time. Spurs are bigger and more important to me.

Looks like the most expensive transfer fee a MLS team paid was 21 million euros
We should be. But there are £250k a week of reasons why we're not.
Don't see the point of moving Son to be honest, unless he has explicitly asked for it.
We're not getting anything substantial in return for a 33 year old who has 1 year left on his deal. Might as well let him have a farewell tour of a season.

He earns more than Son and would presumably want more to come down to our level. It’s total bullshit designed to keep us dreaming for a few days.

Tom Bogert is a legit MLS source.
Looks like this is Sonny's farewell tour
I'm honestly surprised if he really thinks that way. I would have expected him to wanna play in the CL for one last season.I think he does want to go now though
Better to go out on a relative high, then end up like a Lloris
Wasn’t he told that they didn’t want him ?
Gets here realizes he can pop his slippers on for a nice pay packet . Lovely stuff
For what it’s worth , I think he’ll be a better player this coming season but to what level is hard to tell as he didn’t really show much while on loan
Not sure why you’ve chosen to pluralise thisBeing happy with the situation and accepting that this is how we operate and no amount of whining will change that are two different things.
Yeah, we're not as good as our competitors. That much is obvious. But just because we don't come out and post 254 critical whiny comments about this every single fucking day, doesn't immediately translate to we're ecstatic with how the club is run. Ffs
