I like the Palhinha loan deal, but still think we need at least one more player in.
Fortunately we still have the Morgan Gibbs-White money to spend.
That's £60m isn't it Daniel? Daniel? Daniel?

I really hope so, but knowing this club, we aren’t paying his whole wage packet just so he can be a “squad player”.True, but surely Palinha isn't being signed to play against low blocks, surely he's being signed to give us a tough destroyer for games when we don't have as much possession - the top EPL sides, the top CL sides etc. I'd be surprised if he started against the lower quality low block teams. For me this is Frank doing Frank - assembling a variety of completely different options for different situations.
Well it might…or it might just show we are not great at choosing which players to buy assuming we want to sell them on for a profitWhich rebukes the idea that we only buy players to sell for a profit, doesn't it?
even Doomfunk seems level on this one

Well, even without other signings, having Maddison, Kulu, Bergvall, Bentancur, Sarr, Donley, Biss (for now at least), plus posiibly Kudus and Gray if they get any games in any sort of CM position, would mean that I doubt Palinha will play most games. It doesn't work like that any more anyway, it's a squad game, with different solutions used to solve different problems. I expect that will be especially true for Frank, and personally I wouldn't be remotely surprised if we see Palinha regularly start one game then not even be on the bench for the next (if it's a totally different level and/or style of opponent).I really hope so, but knowing this club, we aren’t paying his whole wage packet just so he can be a “squad player”.
Yeah all fine, thanks. Still not 100% down there but the doc said it can take 3 or 4 months.
I think we still make at least three more signings:
- versatile forward to replace Richarlison/Son
- left back to challenge Udogie
- attacking midfielder
I still think Romero will leave as well, we are still being linked to players like Guehi, Zabarnyi etc which makes no sense if he’s staying.
Or Marinakis pull the brakes up.smart for him to have his medical in Munich so our medical team don't miss anything like they did with Takai
Palace will probably want £90m for him or something ridiculousTyrick Mitchell wouldn't be a bad signing going off that graphic. Would be decent competition for Udogie and we can finally get rid of Ben Davies then.
There was going to be a sanity clause in his contract but his agent said he didn't believe in sanity clauses.

Brentford making their move, now we were strongly linked with this guy a few weeks ago, Don't know if this may bait us, plus means Wissa going perhaps
