If so then he’s statement about front football and so on was t quiet accurateGetting the vibe that the formation isn't going to be as important as the personal.
Think Frank is going to have at least 6 defensive players on the pitch at all times. So if it's 4 at the back, i think we're going to have at least 2 holding/defensive mids.
One week until we face PSG in the UEFA Super Cup and we are still behaving like a small ambitionless midtable club.
Fuck em allLooking forward to a couple of deals by the weekend , not claiming to be ITK but I have a very close friend who works in the industry. Anyway he is adamant that serious finance has been put in place to allow us to compete with Galliard Homes and Barratt Development
He has never steered me wrong before , so chins up lads . Fuck Galliard and Barratt
Good to know . I will tell my wife that had I bought her a diamond necklace for our anniversary she would have got a really nice present and I hope she liked the toothbrush insteadHad the MGW deal completed, we would be the 2nd biggest spending club in this transfer window.

Perfect manager for us - could work with our self imposed budget restraints, after all he managed to feed 5000 with 5 loaves and 2 fish.

Very interesting observation and I think it's accurate.I'm sure it's an oversimplification, but it feels like there's a curve that goes from "17 year old starlet who has just touched senior football available for 15M" to "19 year old with one season of big moments and promise available for 45M" to "21 year old who has established as a top-quality performer available for 80M" and it's the middle one that's by far the worst asset class.
5 of category 1 or 1 of category 3 leaves you in a much better place than 2 of category 2.
Put in more comprehensible English: that's just too much money for what Tyler Dibling has shown.
Cool, but we haven't done anything of note and something that will really help us going forward since buying a player from West Ham almost 4 weeks ago. Maybe apart from signing a 30 year old stopgap from Bayern's dressing room on loan, it has been a shambolic window so far really.Had the MGW deal completed, we would be the 2nd biggest spending club in this transfer window.
I think all clubs in the PL have some transfer debt, I don't know when any of our club's amount is due to be paid, My point is Levy said this June past that the club has spent £700m on player acquisitions since the new stadium was opened 2019. He didn't mention that a sizeable portion of that sum is yet to be paid. The thing about this is nothing I've seen shows the time and structure for that. Let's say, hypothetically, it's due over 5 years. That's £66m a year. It's probably a rolling number, older transfers are paid off as new ones get added.
Is that really a big deal? For a club that generates as much money as we do and is it that far removed from other clubs?
He's never played front football despite what every article would suggest. His football is about flexibility and adaption to nullify certain opponents. Time will tell if it works for us.If so then he’s statement about front football and so on was t quiet accurate
Dibling 30k a week, Lookman 150k a week. Makes perfect sense.Very interesting observation and I think it's accurate.
The "curve" of transfer prices does seem a bit wonky. I'm all for snapping up talented youngsters but when you're paying 45m plus for players who've shown one or two moments it doesn't sit right. Might as well just pay the extra 10-15m for established quality.
Case in point: Dibling going for more money than Ademola Lookman. Makes no sense whatsoever.
The red line on that chart shows money spent on hairspray, legal fees to keep a rape case hush for 3 years, piz buin for certain right backs and 2 pre ordered open top bus parades.I think all clubs in the PL have some transfer debt, I don't know when any of our club's amount is due to be paid, My point is Levy said this June past that the club has spent £700m on player acquisitions since the new stadium was opened 2019. I saw this chart online but I don't know if it's accurate but I suppose if it is accurate then about £300m of Levy's £700m is yet to be paid.

I don't know of the figures are gross or not, so say for example the Kane money might have paid some of it off, if the figures are gross and money owed to our club from other clubs haven't been applied.
BBC gossip page:
Tottenham want to add to their attacking options and have AC Milan's Portugal forward Rafael Leao, 26, and 24-year-old Real Madrid and Brazil winger Rodrygo among their targets.
