It can’t keep being the managers faultI don't think relegation is a threat but at this rate I can see a Nuno Mark 2 situation, it will get Toxic when we are bottom half around Christmas and TF will be the sacrifice to try and get the fans off Levys back, the only reason Ange got so long was because of them first 10 games.
I get TF worked wonders at Brentford but for them staying up was the aim, as Spurs Fans we expect (and rightly so) to actually be challenging the Top 5 and going Deep in the cups, even that is a fall from Grace, as we were all sold the dream that the stadium would actually make us competing for the league and CL.
The way I see it is Levy is making out Spurs are a Michelin star restaurant, he's charging a fortune for the fine dining experience, he gets a good cook in and then skimps on the ingredients then wonder why he gets shitty reviews from the punters as the food is not up to scratch, he then ends up sacking the chef , even though it was the bald cunt who just gave him a half price bag of rice and some dry pasta to create his menu!
Nobody is loving our transfer window more than Chavs and Goons everywhereI tell you who is enjoying this window, the Greeks, Ange and that fat fucker from Forest are no doubt loving the way we are acting this Summer!![]()
You would have thought that wouldn’t youSounds like Frank is asking for Player X and being given Player Y. Sometimes I wonder how smart these managers are before they take the job. Surely they must know what we are like before they come???

Spurs ain't turning his or other heads cause we're a shitshow, not a serious club, and we're run by an absolutely despicable cunt.Probably more to do with him returning to Real Madrid than finances.
If thats his plan, certainly Spurs aint turning his head.

Not matter what business you run
I think you're confusing Real Madrid with Real Betis... and, even then, I'm pretty sure there was no buy-back.I think with Lo Celso Real Madrid had an option to take him back if they wished
The deal was basically if he turned out shite we kept him. If he shone like a diamond they got him back.
Something like that.
No it just says he's having to take more time than he's used to to convey what he wants.
You are 100% correct about the player scouting/buying, as Levy only pays top money on average players because the wages of the real top players are beyond his desire to pay.Sounds like Frank is asking for Player X and being given Player Y. So many (not you) getting all wet in the pants looking at Palhinha's tackling stats.Realistically, wouldn't you have hoped to be in a stronger position than we are as of now.
As things stand, we've jettisoned our most productive attacking player and brought in Kudus and 30yo Palhinha.
Unless we have a stellar next four weeks, we've effectively added about 3 tackles a game and lost about a 50% G/A a game.

IF Vicario, Romero, VDV, Porro, Udogie, Solanke, Richy, Kudus can stay fit Spurs should still be within spitting distance of Top 4 by the time the Xmas fixtures come. Kulu coming back and finding form will be needed to overcome the Xmas fixtures.
I have zero confidence that Romero, VDV, Udogie, Richy will be fit beyond game week 12.
Domestic cups will likely go to the kids; and we will crash out early, and the Champions League will expose Franks lack of experience in Europe and the lack of depth in the squad.
No threat of relegation. Frank knows how to sit back and 'survive'. But certainly, the only man at the club that actually tried to throw caution to the wind and win something was sacked.
I think he s more talking about the speed of the process, that at Brentford he’d say. “I need a speedy winger,” and they’d have a list of targets already prepared and go off and try and get one of their top picks. Whereas here he seems to hinting at layers of bureaucracy and having to even convince them that he needs what he says he does.Sounds like Frank is asking for Player X and being given Player Y. I would find it hard to argue against this - probably the reason we’ve had such a lack of success prior to the europa league, have we ever tried buying a player because he’s the best in his position? The pattern is this:
MGW - opportunistic because his release clause was lower than Forest's value of the player (they would never accept 60m without release clause)
Palhinha - opportunistic because Bayern wanted rid
Kudus - opportunistic because WHU had to sell
We don't target the best players for Frank, we target players with value

This attitude is going to solidify our status as mid table rather than CL challenging, which is a shame because the club clearly have a much more dynamic strategy when it comes to commercial/property development.
Maddison is a huge blow that isn't the club's fault of course. And I did not expect to completely vault the gap between us and the top clubs even in the best case scenario.
But I would have hoped for greater progress than we've made with our CL qualification, and I did not anticipate how aggressive Woolwich/Liverpool/United were going to be.
If we had Bissouma, Richy and Solomon out the door in addition to Sonny, had let Tel go back to Bayern and Davies' contract to expire, but then we'd been the ones to sign Ekikite/Gyokeres and Cunha/Eze, I'd be saying we're a fullback short of really taking a step forward and making a fist of it in the CL.
There is still time to make some good things happen, but we just have some really substandard pieces occupying several significant places in the squad right now, as the league buries us.
And as always it's down to that dualism of what's lacking under ENIC, industry standard resourcing and the ironclad sporting commitment to out-competing our rivals. Every path is a road to nowhere without those things.
PL: 8th at best, more likely 10th or 12th...possibly another 12-15 defeats incl some embarrassing ones vs LFC and our London 'rivals'Where does the club finish the year as currently constituted, and knowing the number of fixtures we face?
Relegation a real threat this time…?
