What I wouod say, and just based on what kind of squad you need to compete in 4 competitions,one of them being the CL, is that we are so behind 4 of the other 5 who are in the same boat.
How about a small one? Most of the bigger journalists in regards to spurs and/or transfers all started coming out one after the other saying it as soon as the MGW news first hit.

The financial rules are purely built to ringfence the traditional powers ... totally unfair rules, there needs to be financial rules which apply to everyone equally, not tailor made revenue based rules which only benefit clubs with history behind them.

You keep going on about this. The problem isn’t that he made a comment saying we’ll compete for the PL. No one cared anyway. The problem is he’s stitched Frank up and left us with a squad that isn’t top 10 material while ripping off fans to gain record revenues.
He has fucked the club over, when you look at the team, its a mish mash of average rubbish going nowhere other than midtable.
Its not our money. Who cares, I'm sure the Levy can afford him. Wish he went for bigger fish.
