We need experience, not more kids.

I just don't get people who thinks we can replace our one and only playmaker, with a kid!?

And us being short of personnel in key positions as usual, is almost criminal. Now it's AMC, LB, and DMC. The same story over and over again.

Sad Arrested Development GIF
We need quality ready to go experienced players. We don't need anymore kids. I totally agree with you're post

It's depressing reading for fans.

It's embarrassing for the club.

It's negligent from those in charge.

Definition of a shit-show.
If the PE teachers defensive, set piece football has a bad start, there’s every chance we get quickly pulled into a relegation battle. I actually think there’s a chance we concede a lot less goals but we will absolutely score less too. I can’t see us scoring 2 or more v often tbh

We need to cut the poor bloke loose to pursue his own career now. He doesn’t seem to have done enough here to get a proper chance. Never looks any worse than our other attackers when he comes on or plays, maybe there’s an issue in training because he doesn’t ever look that bad.

It's nothing to do with him and everything to do with our club always prioritising the expensive kids they spent money on to justify the pay out over the kids from our youth set up.

Scarlett scored a goal, then got a great assist, then was never to be seen again whilst Tel did nothing and got chance after chance.

Same with Devine who looks a prospect but nah...we have to insist on playing Gray into form because of the outlay.

Classic Levy to get a pragmatic manager through the door who is likely to have us playing some fairly defensive football at times and then offer him the worst attacking players we've had in the club maybe in the last what like 10, 15 years ?

It's more important now than ever to have a bit of magic up top because chances will be at a premium and we won't have massive possession. He even had difference makers at Brentford and at least one fucking 10 he could rely on. To come to Spurs and have so little to depend on at the top end of the pitch is laughable.

I just read the expected Palace side today, and it’s scared the life out of me that I would genuinely take the majority of them over what we have available.

That’s the level we’re at. I’m not trying to create a hyperbolic statement, or make some sort of sensationalist headline.

That’s the reality.
I do get the sentiment, my man. When I look at our squad, I just can't shake that little nagging voice that screams West Ham, Palace, Fulham, Everton.

I mean...Davies, Drag, Palhinha, Bissouma, Richarlison, Solanke, Solomon...that reeks of them clubs. Even our so-called wonderkids Udogie, Tel, Odobert...if we were a serious operation, no way they'd even make our bench. Let's not even talk about Takai, Bryan Gil...

Whereas when I looked at Hugo, Walker, Rose, Toby, Superjan, Dembele, Wanyama, Eriksen, Dele, Sonny, Kane & co...that same little voice screamed Real, Barca, PSG.
