Where did you predict we'd finish last season? Our transfer window is a travesty. no doubt. But those tuckers saying we'll Finish 15th need to have a word with themselves, or get their eyes checked. Ange ain't here no more, we'll finish top 10, easy, even with no new signings, I fucking guarantee it. Some of you are truly embarrassing.
Yup that is my prediction from the minute Maddison got injured. A deadline day move for Mcatee! Levy will see it as a risk free gamble. Even if he flops this year and doesn't make any impact, he's still a young english player with value.I didn't realise that James McAtee has one year left on his City deal
Only 22, English, a hardworking number 10/wide right attacker, good attitude, won't be asking for crazy wages
This is the classic THFC opportunistic deal just waiting to be completed![]()
So...Do you think Daniel Levy was lying when he claimed the new stadium "Would be the game changer that allows us to compete with Europe's elite"Better get used to it in that case.
We are buying young potential, and the odd experienced player, Solanke, Kudus, Danso, Maddison and the like.
Lange made this clear in his first interview, that so many in hear have listened to him and are still in denial is amazing.
As much as I don't like it, I have moved on and stopped worrying about where we are with transfers and expecting transfer records to be broken.
Don't give yourself an ulcer worrying about it, the club isn't changing it's philosophy on player transfers.
Were you lying when you said « not one brick » would be built. Or were you itk about the concrete pillars? Architecture seems to be your thingsSo...Do you think Daniel Levy was lying when he claimed the new stadium "Would be the game changer that allows us to compete with Europe's elite"
I agree, but that's outrageous for the 8th riches club in europe!

McAtee wouldn’t be the worst bit of business, but it should be accompanied with the signing of a more established 10/LW. Given Levy’s penchant for leaving the squad incomplete, you just know they’d leave it at McAtee alone.
Forgive me, but I bought into that!!So...Do you think Daniel Levy was lying when he claimed the new stadium "Would be the game changer that allows us to compete with Europe's elite"
As I have said before it is total wages that matter where we were 7th. 5 of those above us are richer than us. It is not that players can get more money from the likes of West Ham as if that was the case why did Kudus move to us. I have not seen his wages but he is bound to be getting more. We got Frank from Brentford and are you really saying he got more at Brentford. It's the proportion of revenue that's invested in player salaries though.
We're 20th out of 20.
The obvious conclusion is that we could pay more, much more, to attract better players... but the club chooses not to.
So the obvious question is...where is all that extra revenue going.
We are a football club that doesn't prioritise the football team. Whichever way you look at it or try and dress it up, it's a scam.
It is in the accounts which have been produced and debated on here. They were for 30th June 2024 but we are unlikely to have reduced it.Of course.
Daniel Philip Levy.....That bastion of truth and honesty.
24/7 as long as it's not football related.
No dividends have been paid. How much money is transferred to ENIC?
Joe Lewis had a misdemeanour in the USA and had to paymillions did the club contribute to this. This is why we need new owners!
We're going round in circles here MalcolmAs I have said before it is total wages that matter where we were 7th. 5 of those above us are richer than us. I am not disputing we are not competing on wages or transfer fees with the top 5 but we are with the rest.
Stop calling him mate TM thanksWe're going round in circles here mate.
You acknowledge that we spend a lower proportion of our revenue on player wages than every one else..not just in England but in every major league in Europe.
The obvious conclusion is we are not attracting the quality of player we could if we invested more. And obviously we could invest more if we chose to.
If Liverpool, for instance, only invested around 40% on wages, they would not be signing the quality of player they are now.
It's a scam mate. There's no other word to describe it.
Maybe not.

Owe £300m in back payments - piss poor management of player assets.Think levy said in financial report or somewhere we dont have the money or owe 300m in past transfers. Were either skint or being stealthy when getting our targets.
