Maybe. But Savinho’s one season in La Liga as a kid produced more G/A than any of Rodrygo’s.I think selling Savinho for 70 mill and buying Rodrygo for 80 mill is remarkable business

The most exciting part is that Frank is working with much better defenders than he did at Brentford, in a world cup winner and some experienced, solid defenders.palhinha sitting in front of an already good back 4 too, exciting times indeed.
Other clubs aren't interested in a wasteman like Bissouma who's routinely late to training, and it's an AFCON season. Shocked I tell you!
yea, the most important ingredient is frank himself. looks to be a proper football person. The most exciting part is that Frank is working with much better defenders than he did at Brentford, in a world cup winner and some experienced, solid defenders.
I think we will be a very disciplined side this season, in terms of keeping clean sheets just based on how pragmatic Frank sets us up and the quality this side possesses.
The only concerning factor is lack of firepower but that can be fixed quite easily by bringing in both Eze and Savio.
Richarlison and Solanke in form can be lethal and are massive nuisances inside the box, including our defenders as seen against a physically inept PSG side.
Savio can beat players, whilst Eze can provide that fluidity and creativity needed to fill Maddisons role.
If we DO make those signings, we should all feel very confident for the season barring injuries.
Many near misses….wowee. Many assists great with Haaland up top but we’ve got Solanke and Richarlison. You must not watch a lot of football.
Mbuemo, Gyokeres, Sesko - you all think were great value? Why?
Savinho has way more potential than most on that list.
People banging on about his 1 goal but he went very close many times and was unlucky not have more. Watch his highlight reel.
Also Pep’s wingers are not there to score goals. He got a bucket load of assists, as Pep sets wingers up to do.
Then look at his Girona spell - outstanding stats in a mediocre side.

If we do get Savinho and Eze, and fans on here keep complaining, they should just give up on following football.
Unfortunately we know he cannot. If Richarlison can stay fit and work as hard as he did last night, he would be the centre-forward that we need. Much more talent than Solanke, just injury-prone.
Savinho on one wing, Kudus on the other.
Absolute nightmare fuel for defences.
Eze in the middle too is probably asking too much. It's clear that we're not allowed nice things.

Do you reckon he would work in a double pivot?
Damn lighten up a bit. I doubt you’ve even watched him. Many near misses….wowee. Many assists great with Haaland up top but we’ve got Solanke and Richarlison.
Reasonable/Serviceable players as an interim over 4 years? You'll have to explain that strategy to me.Because Spurs needed to fill the squad with both numbers of players as well as reasonable/serviceable quality players over last 4 years - hence Solanle, Johnson, Odobert, Romero, Bentancur, many pretty decent quality with the odd slip op with inconsistent Bissouma, but for the most part a serviceable squad, albeit light on star players - and getting up to the squad size we need, So not a mistake - its called rebuilding strategy, not getting a perfect squad immediately but a decent squad as an interim.
Now we have pretty much a full squad, the next step is upgrading some of those players to a level we have not had for a few years - and we'll need to do that for a couple of years plus develop some of our youngsters with the aim that by the end of each window we have an improved squad
