I think they paid 100m for the multiple excellent seasons and stuff like two top bins free kicks vs Real Madrid mate, not whether he played well against old Trafford on opening day. Where he assisted the games only goal.

The guy was injured for almost the entirety of last season and he came back into a side playing like absolute dog shit, in a completely disjointed system that didn't work for a single player in it.
