Not much we can do to stop Woolwich getting a player over us. And if the deals is 68m then that's alot more than our original 55m bid which apparently was agreed so there is evidence that Parish moved the goalposts a few times the last few days. We left the door open and Woolwich hijacked. Simple as that.

What I don't understand is why fans were so confident this deal was done for days (long before the POK bomba). I was petrified Woolwich would hijack us if we didn't complete the deal and here we are.

We knew eze wanted them. We knew they were interested in Eze. This was always a very possible outcome and was always my worst nightmare. Its happened. I'm not a wet wipe! I'm just a realist!

Really think we should make a move for kang in lee from psg. would be cheaper than eze and is more of a playmaker. Him and savinho and we can rescue this window.

So apparently we agreed 68million fee.

We also were spending similar on MGW. The money is there. No excuse not to bring two top quality signings in for big money this summer. Ten days to do it and Levy simply has to get it done

We arent paying neither 70 or 75, so doesnt matter. I dont understand how the fuck we can splash 40 mill on Tel without hesitation, after having him on loan and seeing him do fuck all, but we cant just pay 60 to get a player we really need. But Bale had a fucking shaky start in the club too, so one can hope...
