Don’t see us getting both Paz and Alikouche

Prob one and then Dibbling or BEK as the backup 10

Know nothing about Paz .. is there anyone on here who has watched him consistently?

Akliouche .. bus-conductor bus-conductor come on you french football nerd - is he actually any good or is he just your standard 'cool sounding name and french players are all talented, right?' clone.

Well, the last few years it has been to buy younger players with a mind for the future along with some more established players who, whilst certainly not elite, were meant to be able to provide Premier League level quality and hopefully make the step up to the next level.

What i don't like is the club let him or Palace string us along, we should have put the offer on the table and if the club & Player didn't accept it then we move on, start acting like a fucking big Club!
It's as if Spurs have no understanding of how time impacts negotiations.

The spin from the club is that they were always wary that Eze was waiting for Woolwich, which many of us were too. Fine. But a competent club would have alternatives lined up and ready to be moved on swiftly. We are still "exploring the conditions" and "monitoring" various random players. There is clearly no proper plan or urgency at all.

This is what Levy always does, he gives himself 10 days to do 2 months worth of transfer activity, it is impossible to do a proper job that way. He thinks it's easier to buy at this point but he is a moron, it is much harder to buy now because selling clubs have minimal time to replace players. If you want someone important then you need to sign them during pre-season. We will now be forced to sign from a pool of players like Garnacho and Nkunku, whose clubs badly want rid.

Frank’s comments don’t fill me with hope.
I know he’s not exactly expected to say any different, but Levy will see it as an opportunity not to over spend …

Agreed.

But we've had months to find players that want to play for the club and improve the team.

Shoddy work by shoddy owners. We are 1 injury away from a worse team than the one that finished 17th last season. Yes they underperformed but still.
I agree completely with this. I don’t really care that we lost out on Eze. I’m more frustrated with the fact that it seems to take us a month to complete a transfer and other teams can turn it around in a week.

That’ll end well after the way he appears to have treated Nuno!
RIP Nuno. Thoughts and prayers.

Shower thought: What happens when an unstoppable farce meets an immovable degenerate?

100% Greek tragedy!

Frank just now:

"We need to do everything we can to be as competitive as possible. I am confident we will sign a player before the end of the window. Two players in, two players out so probably a bit similar."

Doesn't sound good.
This is exactly why he was hired in the first place. It was implicitly agreed that Levy would be able to fuck him over and penny pinch and he’d be too professional to complain bc he’s used to a shoestring budget. Levy is pure evil
