There's a massive difference between acknowledging on here that our Owners aren't building to win titles like scums owners are (something we have zero control over) - and letting gooners have a free pop at us in a summer we've just won a European trophy and they've won fuck all.

How is this even a conversation?

I have a smaller issue with how much we spend, as opposed to how we choose to spend it. Sack off buying three average punts on smaller wages, and buy the one good player and break this ridiculous wage warrior we have.

This is the reason we can't attract top talent. So over it.

Yes, they'll get another manager and will try winning them again next year. It fucking sickens me that they show ambition while we just keep being left with nothing but our dick in our hands. Considering where both our clubs were when Conte was here and we beat them for 4th, it just shows how fucking shit Levy has been at his job.

Is it better? If Kudus gets injured, we're properly fucked. Our RW option is Johnson, and our LW options are 2 kids. All this, while we have no fit #10s in the squad, and have fucking wasters like Gil, Solomon etc. still on our books. This window has been a fucking shambles.

I'm guessing the above posts were written with tongue firmly in cheek as any Spurs fan who's ever held a ST would know there is this type of facility available every season and although I've never used it I believe it can be paid in 10 equal interest free amounts over the course of the season.

Same goes for the (toothless) supporters meeting suggestion...why would they not know this information beforehand?

Anyhoo the more pressing matter is not so much the method of payment it's the feckin amount and the continued actions of the Club to eradicate concessions and squeeze more money out of the fans is unconscionable.....

It's just a shitty way of shutting down debate. Asking why, given our incredible income streams, we simply can't compete with them in terms of squad building turns into moronic accusations of "sucking off Woolwich" to the delight of half a dozen clapping seals.

Fuck that, I demand better for my club than this.
 
Just fucking get Savinho and BEK and put us out of our misery. Decent window, with Kudus and Palinha. Rolling the dice a bit on BEK but I thought he was good when they played us last year. Him/Sarr/Bergvall/Kudus will have to tide us over at the 10 until Maddison and/or Kulu are back.

Come September 2nd we'll have an exasperated Alasdair Gold telling us how Spurs have 'learned lessons' from this window, but we've heard that multiple times over the years. They seem very good at having an inquest after the fact rather than getting the chequebook out and unfucking the scenario at the time.
