Part of the problem is the way it's considered cool and savvy on the internet to sort of pantomime and cosplay as an all-knowing chairman and businessperson rather than embody oneself AS A FAN.

If we don't do it, no one else is going to voice our perspective for us.

In the Premier League, but they got extremely close to the fucking Champions League. Now they're going for either of them again. If they won't win it, they'll try again and again, while we're still going to be hoping we get lucky and fluke an FA Cup.

This has already proven effective in the workplace in relation to Eze-gloating too.

For years of being nearly men we've been taunted with "silverware is all that matters"........... As much it suits some narratives to spin that otherwise now; nothing's changed.


Spurs, Palace & West Ham have all won trophies more recently that the scum...... Even Newcastle ended the ultimate trophy drought in that time. Hard facts.

Yeah that's not it, last year they sold some players and didn't buy many players even when the money was there and they made the decision to not buy anyone in January also letting them splurge big in this window.

Since the very fucking beginning of that club moving to North London and lobbying their way into Division 1 after a fucking war, all the way to the David Dein era of inserting themselves into key positions of power in the media and administration of the game, they have always been and always will be, the club of politics and corruption,

Spurs as you say has always been a club that brings the romance and dreams back to football. Just look at that parade and the number of messages we all got from neutral fans who deep down understood what that trophy meant for not only us but the soul of football itself.

They can never have that.

I do worry about us, which is why I'm fucking fuming. Because we don't try to have a right go at it, and it's been proven time and time again.

As for Kroenke, you get what you spend. You spend big, you get big results (unless you're Man United). If he spends, revenues will go up, they become a more attractive place for players (just look at how embarrassing they were a couple of years ago, before they started spending big), which will allow him to spend on even better players. It's not rocket science.

I agree. Im desperate for pool to get isak and tbh I think pools defence is not good enough to win the title so am hoping they get a cb.

Its so sad that we need other teams to be great to stop gooners winning.

We finished 17th and won a competition they aren't even eligible for because they qualify for a superior competition. Sorry but it stinks of West Ham crowing about winning the Conference League. Nobody gives a shit. How long do you think we can dine out on that? We can say "ahhh but we won the Europa", they reply "but it's a second rate competition".

Yeah it was a fantastic day out and all that, we won a trophy, it was amazing for us. But in the grand scheme of things, being a top team and challenging for the title and CL is where it is at. We are nowhere near and we never will be under Levy and ENIC.

Exactly. This is a professional sports team with one ambition. If this was a kids football team, sure, everybody trying is great, all you can ask for.

But when you pay some of the most expensive tickets prices, get promised the world and in reality, see nothing in return, it's well within your rights to want and expect more.
