Not as against the vuskovic loan as others, the boy is a top class talent and does not need his development stunting by playing 10 games this year. Look what happened to Tanganga (who would have been a decent pl player had we been loaning him out earlier). Need to get an experienced cb in who's happy to cover

What financial issues do Villa actually have?
Their wage to revenue ratio is horrendous and the reason they are always walking the PSR tightrope. I actually checked their wages there and they have 14 players on over 100k a week. Subs like Bailey and Malen are on 140k a week! Madness.

Don't think are are in any financial bother though. Its just that the club is running at a totally unsustainable level and if their owners went broke then Villa would be at risk of going under.

If Spurs bid for him it will be like the Eze saga all over again.
As soon as Spurs show some concrete interest, Chelksi will just move in and shove Spurs aside and out of the way. Chelski almost always find a way.

Unless they decided that Fermin Lopez is the 10 they want instead.

Simons is not someone that sits behind Palmer all season and they seem to be more excited by Estevao than expected off the RW so Palmer isn’t moving back out wide to accommodate Simons.

Fun Fact - Seymenyo was at Spurs on trial a few years back.

He seems a decent player, and at 25 is about the right age and experience to be able to hit the ground running in the first team. I doubt his salary expectations would be beyond 100k a week, and I think an offer between 40-50m would be about right for a player of his ability and contract length.

A figure of 70m would be well excessive and would put him in the top 30 EPL transfers ever - which would be entirely absurd.
As soon as Bournemouth accept an offer City will step in if they can’t get Rodrygo .
