Where does he start though on our best team? I'm guessing Sarr, Simmons and Paulinho or Bentancaur ?
I hope he doesn't mind being dropped for big games when Frank wants the pragmatic, workhorse midfield 3.

I agree although I wonder if this was done out of desperation of it it marks a much needed shift in mentality from our ownership. There’s no way I’m not getting on a plane to a couple of games this season.
I understand those that will say this is the minimum a club like Spurs should be doing but for me, whether or not they fell forwards into it or not, this is the club really making an effort to win.
7 year contract and signing a player on the same money as your top earners. That is conviction ambition
These are the types of signings I wouldn't have thought us capable of before this window, such has been the lack of ambition and obvious failings of the recruitment team. There’s no way I’m not getting on a plane to a couple of games this season.

Loaning Tel would piss him right off surely.Guess we'll be offering Atlanta Tel or Odobert on loan if we do move for Lookman
So Messi on steroids then...He’s a proper #10. Ball magnet, low center of gravity, acrobat balance, can pass, dribble and shoot to a world class level. Tenacious little fucker as well, he will put his foot in.
Can play wide as well.
Hes not a big player but stronger than he looks and we have some units in our squad anyway. Especially in MF.

Need Frank to earn his wages with Tel. If he can't get a tune out of him by January then maybe look for a loan.Loaning Tel would piss him right off surely.
He was on the fence about joing us anyway so this would put him over the edge.
+ a sell on clause I've read a few times.60 Million Euros? That's cheap.
Homegrown tax is unavoidable I guess, but this nonsensical EPL tax that puts the league in a pedestal is truly getting out of hand. Footballing world is not divided between EPL and the rest.
None of the LW you mention are up to it.I agree with the upper part.
But not with the lower one - I am pretty sure that in offensive department this is it.
We play many games with 4-3-3 and 5-3-2 anyway which do not have traditional 10. Nor is Simons traditional 10.
In 4-3-3 he can be part of front 3 and in 5-3-2 can be most advanced midfielder.
When we play 4-2-3-1 in that option he is #10 and the LW can be covered by combination of Odobert, Johnson and potentially Richie once Solanke gets fit.
So in summary - I mean, yes, we could use Savinho like winger too to add quality into that department. But trying to stay realistic, it seems that our business in that sector is done after Simons.
But I'd like us to add another midfielder into the mix. And now that Vuskovic has left on loan than maybe a versatile defender too.
Finally we have another outgoing transfer done
