Well if you have a good manager like we did with poch, mourinho, and conte and give them actual players they want instead of average shite, then we might actually be successful and we wouldn’t need to sack them
Incredible looking back at the pure shit Mourinho was given...Hart, Rodon, Reguilon, Doherty, Gedson, Vinicius, Bergwijn.

Hojbjerg just about worthwhile. Bale on his gap year the only real highlight.

People talk about the 2018 window where we signed no one and the 2019 Ndomble window but that 2020 one sent us back years. It was a crucial moment when we were losing world class players and we replaced them with cheap lower table shite.

Wingers should be our priority. We have a lot of them though. 😂
We really don't - unless we're going to drastically change how we use/define wingers.

Johnson - Inside forward/second striker role. Nothing about him resembles a winger.
Son - Inside forward/second striker role. Nothing about him (currently) resembles a winger.
Kulusevski - Inside forward/CAM (though I'm not convinced on the latter). Nothing about him resembles a winger.
Moore - Categorised as a left winger but I see his skillset being best where Maddison used to excel - wide forward coming infield
Richarlison - CF first and needs to be sold.

So that leaves Odobert (and Moore) for two positions. Raw and rawer still. Our most important position to upgrade imo, without a doubt.

No-one's doubting his skill level, which is most probably "world class"....but his attitude or lack of it is what's keeping big clubs away from him. I, obviously, don't know the guy but there is plenty of reports about his rather "laid back" attitude. He may be able to change attitude and lack of work rate but few players can change their attitude over night. Spurs have already had 3 French world class talents whose attitude sucked: Dalmat, Taarabt, Ndombele. Ndombele, while at Lyon, run riot when Lyon played Man City in the CL a few years back.
Just a reminder: Here are the highlights of 2 player who were tearing it up in Ligue 1 while at Lyon, but whose attitude sucked...and both were world class talents...

I don’t know shit about his attitude. The club will have the ability to do their DD on that.

I’m fully sold on his ability.
