Transfers The Summer Transfer Thread 2025

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Transfer plans should be on hold for the summer. Until we know if we're playing 40-45 games or 50-60 games, we cannot build our squad for 25/26 season.

I also think it is a given that Ange won't be here next season, and the new manager will need to have input into how we shape the squad with or without Europe.

Tbh I hope they aren’t putting any plan on hold but more like making 2 plans:

A: if we win EL and get CL

B: No Europe next season.

Then whatever you decide in terms of coaching has to fit in with whatever you decide your squad needs.

So it's van de Ven to Real M. and Romero to Atleti and Udogie to Man City which

Micky van de Ven's agent makes a concerning claim about Real Madrid

Micky van de Ven told he could play for Real Madrid one day

Van de Ven’s agent, Jose Fortes, has now been speaking to the Spanish press and predictably he was asked about the speculation linking his client with a move to the Spanish capital.

Fortes is convinced that the Tottenham Hotspur man is good enough to play for Los Blancos one day.

He told Marca: “Micky also has the level to play one day in a big club like Real Madrid. In addition, Madrid need a player behind him with his characteristics”.

Everyone getting upset and wetting the bed over poxy agents spouting crap. Romero aside , most of our lot are tied down to long contracts and for all his faults, and he has multiple, levy does know how to tie down a player to the club.
Not one of our players can be judged under this fool , who has run most into the ground and if we do want to go anywhere we need to keep the Romero's and Vdvs not talk about getting the best price for them, that's Levy economics , don't fall for it.

And the targets keep getting younger (Bro Hanse is 16) :D
Form Spurs scout Bryan King talk a lots of non-sense though...and the headlines on newsnow are always "King" and not "Bryan King", making people at first it's Ledley King who's been quoted...

Tottenham in hunt to sign ‘next Erling Haaland’ – Exclusive

Tottenham News Speaking to Bryan King

Tottenham have already registered their interest in a Danish wonderkid who could become the next Erling Haaland, according to an expert.

Daniel Levy has been focused on bringing top young talent to Tottenham in recent seasons.

Tottenham ‘in the hunt for Mikkel Bro Hansen’

Earmarked as the next big thing in Norway, ex-Spurs scout Bryan King – speaking exclusively to Tottenham News – has shed some light on the 16-year-old.

“This is a player that could follow in the footsteps of Haaland,” King said.

“Bodø/Glimt have been very successful in recent times. Any Premier League club should be looking, and I’m sure Tottenham have already registered an interest in that player because he is at a good club in Norway who have produced some top players who have moved into Europe.

“As I always say, Croatia, Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, you’ll always get that one player who creates interest from these countries. This young player is creating interest because he is 16 and he plays in the Bodø/Glimt first team. There has been a lot of good stuff written about him.”

Makes sense in a way.

I have no problems with Tel. But I would not pay 50-55 mil for him.
