Massive Paratici vibes to this transfer. I don’t hate it though

Just don’t get this attitude. It’s impossible that we spend big money on every position of need this summer.
Caicedo took a season or so to find his feet.Chelsea fans love Caceido. Mac Allister been sensational for Liverpool.
No idea personally, but I think it's a decent educated guess to make if you presume he doesn't have any ITK info. Unless we sign an absolute gem trophy magnet to replace Ange, I can't imagine Romero would want to risk starting the whole cycle again of likely needing 2-3 years for the manager to really put his stamp on things....
It was also Chelsea were a bit of a mess to start that season. Too much change too quickly.Caicedo took a season or so to find his feet.
The issue isn't that the players aren't good. They just aren't living up to the expectations set by the price tag.
Caicedo wasn't that much worse (if at all) at the start at Chelsea. They just expected way more of him based on the price tag.
29 is not old. These guys live like monks, have personal chefs, and sports scientists. Sonny may have lost a step at 32, but he has played way too much football the last few years. Sane is also just a far more technically smooth player than Son, who always had a quite wonky first touch in tight situations. For me, we've seen how fast the wheels can fall off for a player who relies on his pace with Son.
Sane just turned 29. Hell get massive wages. His wife is the driving force behind a move to London.
This scream albatross contract on the books.
Different players - Sane has a silky first touch and carries the ball under pressure. Footballer, just turned 29 is a fine age. Son was quality at that age. 3 years of Sane? Yes plsFor me, we've seen how fast the wheels can fall off for a player who relies on his pace with Son.

That’s exactly what it is. A decent educated guess. No idea personally, but I think it's a decent educated guess to make if you presume he doesn't have any ITK info. I mean, I’d rather Mbeumo or Cherki, but I think he’s a good contrast to Johnson and will be useful against tighter packed defences.I would gladly be wrong. RW rotation is a huge need for us and it's a difficult position to fill.
He isn't very good for BM, don't see him pulling up trees hereI think I like the Sane deal on paper.. I know there's concerns, but we cant keep running away from these kinds of risks and signing 18/19 year olds. We've got to "dare" at some point.
He's played 30 plus league games for the last few years, so the injuries aren't mounting up.. If we can get a couple years out of him near his best level, then we are undoubtedly more dangerous because of it.
When he was at Man City, I thought this is Bale reborn.. It'd only make sense for him to end up in our shirt.
So now we know who was responsible for Johnson:
