I'd rather have kept Solomon here for this season instead of Werner simply for football reasons but would have saved Levy in wages too. Solomon is on £60,000 a week, Werner is on £165,000.

So he's lost £105.000 per week all season.

hence why Solomon will be sold... to offset the Werner loss although it wasn't a total loss. Ange was able to blame him for most of October and November.

And yet, Maddison sees more of the ball than kulusevski, scores more, assists more, creates more (higher xa90) despite playing less minutes.

Vicario, Kinsky and Brandon fucking Austin average more of the ball per game than Kulusevski. As do 17 other players in our squad.

He’s mr fucking invisible.

It will be sell before we buy in the summer unless we get CL. Our cash flow is low without that or external money coming in this summer. If you go through the finances you can see Levy has fucked it. He basically admitted in his statement the other week that we wouldn’t be spending much going forward.

Maddison is a luxury/liability we don’t need under Ange. However, once Ange buggers off and we bring in a coach who will hopefully play to Maddison’s strengths then he could be a real asset.

Re Kulusevski - we’ve had highs and lows. Under Ange he looks to have lost himself (along with a huge chunk of the squad). Depending on our future system we could see both himself and Maddison play behind a striker = win win or we may utilise our very attack minded wing/full backs which would take the weight off Kulu as a wide right forward in the sense he wouldn’t be expected to play as a ‘winger’ and can play his natural game.

Spurs are a bit like England under Southgate - everyone has a noose around their necks, they can’t express themselves and they’ve been asked to play a doomed style of play. Obviously there’s members of the squad that need hoofing into touch but there’s a good dozen who are playing well below what they’re capable of.
