Would be the most spursy signing ever, he is a downgrade especially when there is Ajayi and Moore patiently waiting for their turn, not to mention the toxic family managing him.

Fuck off Garnacho though, everything about that transfer seem wrong. Put the 30m towards an experienced pro like Mbeumo (~60m transfer) - Scousers won't spunk for him now that Wirtz is locked in.
Hes ok- we should be aiming for people with higher upside though- Garnacho kinda seems like he’ll always play at about his current level, which not a level good enough for a team trying to compete for the top of the Prem table.
Delap has been really good in a shit side that counter attacks or plays long ball forward where he is one on one with a defender.
Not sure how he would go in a bigger team that retains possession and slowly moves into the box with 8 or 9 defenders around.

It's just that when I look at that kid, I see another few levels in him. Bring him in, have him work under a serious manager and coaching staff, surround him with players who got the stomach and brains, and I see a potential superstar.
But state the club is in right now, yeah probably wouldn't move the needle.

I do think the club will be valuing PL experience this summer though. Simons would be a potential gamechanging signing though. Don’t see us going that deep, but we’ll see.

Makes sense for Wrexham, but Swansea is his club and playing alongside Rodon is also good for the national team.
